They got off damn lightly ... pathetic really.

The damage they have done to the brand alone far outweighs the meagre penalties they have copped.

thankgod for WADA....kick them to the gutter will you

Spot on Jaded. Connolly got 12 months for far far less

Yep, one man cracks a joke, found not guilty, gets 12 months.

One man injects players with drugs, has a sook, gets 12 months.

At least we are now moving up one place in the draft for the next two years. God knows we need all the help we can get.

And as if this saga wasn't bad enough, The Great Australian Bake Off is now delayed because of this crap. Damn you Essendon!

Bomberblitz:

The Dustin Fletcher Hangar is an ASADA-free zone. Validated members of Blitz can discuss the situation in the newly created sub-forum.

If you can't see the sub-forum, you're not a validated member. Starting an ASADA thread in The Hangar because you lack the ability to read this thread may just earn you a one-way ticket to Bansville.

Our name has just been mentioned. I might have thrown up a little.

If this now carries over to us, I officially quit.

Two years of draft penalties. $2mil fine. Hird suspended for 12 months. Bomber Thompson fined.

Got off easy.

If this happened to us, we'd be finished.

Now Fark right off Essendon.

Sh&t just heard Andrew Dimwit in answer to a question from M Robbo say we the MFC are next! If the AFL do us over we are finished.

Here we go again although I am a little more confident with PJ in charge.

I still remember when we sacked Neeld in his pressor that PJ was asked if he was concerned about the asada investigation and he said no I am not concerned at all.

Makes me think that something has been already organised.

Knowing our luck, we'll be found guilty, they'll take Viney and Hogan off us and force us to merge with GWS.

Essendon fail their players and their duty of care to their players.

$2million fine, 12 month ban for the coach and no finals.

Melbourne storm breach the salary cap, lose 2 flags.

Go figure.

Im disgusted how soft this is by the afl.

I'm disgusted that Hird & his legal eagles negotiated such a light sentence, only 12 months for this massive stain on our game.

I hope he decides to leave the game... we don't need him with this sort of caniving.

I wonder what a good lawyer would have managed to negotiate for us?

Ah but you did.

I totally disagree about ignoring the view of the football world/general public.

Essendon have not broken any rule but there actions (or lack thereof) and their behaviour represented a breach of trust on the integrity of the actual club, their officials an the game.

And your point about your misguided mate at the Crows is no different to the holier than thou attitude of MFC and EFC supporters to thei clubs ills.

And it won't go past the public perception that MFC tanked, Adelaide manipulated the draft and Essendon have run a toxic cocktail session in their supplements division.

You an your Essendon peers can moralise all you want.

I will moralise because we didn't put the health of players at risk nor 'dabble' with prohibited substances.

It's a little more grievous to say the least...

And the Bombers broke a few rules, RR... I cannot believe I had to write that.

What you have expected Jackson to say? He dead batted the question as you would anticipate him to do.

Given what has happened to Essendon I doubt whether something has been organised.

I suspect we are due ASADA to review us once they have done Essendon.

Given the Pres, the CEO and the Coach have already gone and the Club is in administration, I doubt the AFL are in any rush to belt us and who is left to belt?

Dr Bates should be gone. And it leaves only Mahoney, Craig and Misson left from a governance aspect.

The AFL will massage an outcome that MFC have taken due regard of the governance issues and key persons have left the building....then they should hope like hell that Trengove has not breached ASADA rules.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
