Nicholson cannot ever play again. His kicking is the biggest liability since Mark Neeld.

He is killing any momentum we have.

If Watts is holding out for coin I would tell him that a bloke who was not a high draft pick and was then diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome then diabetes has shown more in his short time so he is getting a pay rise.

That last goal was so predictable. All the play, then it escapes out the back and bang. Typical

I'm sure posters just sit on here waiting to pot our players.

I like your Peterson quote bud, hell of an athlete to come back after that knee - in such a short time frame.

Would never have happened if we had Clark in the forward line.

We looked better than them all game! Just our skill level is awful!!

Hard to complement guys who are so obviously below par. It's not all doom and gloom though.

Thanks mate. Love the bloke like no other. Season is not far off can't wait.

Be nice to finish on a positive note, add Frawley, Dawes and Hogan and maybe there's a future.

Viney is going well and big Spencer has been good in the ruck.

Ablett has been well held so far.

Ok we're playing well but not finishing our good work which is really really frustrating. Now theoretically we should be finishing the game better because they are down on the bench (from what I gather) so they need to take that with some confidence.

Now a negative. If I was coaching any other teams v Melbourne I would tell them to do a torpe ever single time out of kick ins because we sh!t our britches every time a club does that, case in point the last goal. We were even in the box seat to send it back and we stuff it up.

First goal Melbourne, c'mon!

The talent at GC should be very skilful after picking all the cherries for 3 years.

Not expecting compliments, but I really get p1ssed off with the nastiness that flies of the fingers of some of the keyboard heroes here. Totally unnecessary.

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. Once again the club’s top goal scorer but he had a few uncharacteristic flat spots during the season and the club will be looking for much better from him in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses.
