Add Clisby to the list of players who can't defend.

Mackenzie's speed another thing to add to the list of things that make us a crap team.

why are you watching?

I will never ever support Watts down back. Ever.

You have Davis who is an actual defender, yet you put Watts down back.

Dumb coaching.

Thank God

Is it opening up because Jones is off?

We have dropped off substantially around the contested ball and clearances.

I'd like to see us go defensive and hold onto the ball as long as we can, chains of uncontested possessions, to get our composure back.

Say what now?!?

Can't find the article now, but they had all sorts of stats for defenders with reference to the AA team. Dunn has the best % in the league for winning 1-1 contests. At the time of the article he'd had three marks taken on him for the season.

why are you watching?

Because I'm a sucker for pain.

Thank god for Jonesy. What a star.

The entire commentary thus far has been one long suck session over Gold Coast's players.

What a boring place to play football - zero atmosphere.

Viney, Kent, Terlich and Clisby are in our top 5 possession getters and probably best players so far.

That is a good sign.

Jordie is the worst footballer I've ever seen play AFL

haha fair enough

Can't someone teach our players to Shepard!!!

What a terrible game!

comparing our game to the other game on tonight, its like they are 2 different sports

Terlich has been caught a lot tonight.

Whoever is playing on Ablett is doing a good job. Only 8 touches so far.

God we look amateurish at moving the ball. So static.

I'm only able to follow online, but statistically things are average.

Disposals: 163-168

Clearances: 18-15

Inside 50s: 24-17

Contested possessions: 53-55

Tackles 27-19

Competitive in disposals and clearances against the GC midfield, which is a win, but the inside 50 discrepancy is frustrating, as always.

Jordie is playing Ablett better than most players have all year.

Or, do you not even know who he is playing on?

Is it McKenzie?

Also, for help, where is Davis playing? Forward? Does that mean Watts is in defence?

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
