Who was it that just dropped that guy over the boundary? That's the effort I like to see.

GO FOR GOAL TOUMPAS!!!!!!

Toumpas should have kicked that.

Lol @ Pedersen's rushed shot for goal when he had 20 metres.

I'm very concerned at Toumpas's lack of pace.

This is beyond embarassing just to watch. Imagine what it would be like for the players.

Oh wait. They don't care, so why would they be embarrassed?

Lazy footballers the lot of em!! Jesus Christ couldn't save this lot

This is the laziest team i have ever seen playing They are not fair dinkum Where is Trengove where is Grimes Why cant they run Why dont they want to run

Im sorry to say Toumpas is a poor player at this stage adds nothing

Its embarrassing after watching North last night we have to put up with this crap Clear the lot!

Show some bloody passion, we are playing like bags of [censored]. What an absolute disgrace we have become.

This will be a 8-10 goal belting. We will tire and they will continue to run

Just when you thought we couldn't sink any deeper. This club just keeps amazing me. Gas kids shrugging of talked , running away from their man with ease, winning one on one marking contests. What are our players doing at training.

My god. The commentary is almost as bad as our "football".

Shut the [censored] up about Jeremy Cameron!

Is Sylvia playing ?

why the [censored] do we constantly kickit into the man on the mark

happens EVERY WEEK

so many retards on this team

I would be very careful if I was you using that word

MFC can [censored] off. I don't mind errors but Jones, Spencer, Watts, Viney aside they play with such lack of effort and attack on the call that its embarrassing. If I was Roos I wouldn't taint my legacy by touching this rabble.

Have had a gutful.

Right now I wish this club didn't exist and I wouldn't have to suffer through this crap each week.

Our players should be ashamed of themselves. They are pathetic.

Just saw Sylvia hunched over looking like he was spent right on half time.....I would be to if i was PLAYING A GAME OF BLO#DY FOOTBALL AND NOT DOING CIRCLEWORK!!!!

The funny side of things is the constant rubbish being dribble being spilled from the commentators about "Jezza" and how the people of Western Sydney give a toss about AFL.

Toumpas had Spencer on the inside for a decade before he ran into the tackle... not able to choose between two or more options... TAKE AN OPTION!!!!!!! I wanted the kick across to Spencer who would have run directly into a certain major!

I spat the dummy then. We should've had at least 3-4 more goals that quarter, I reckon we would've had more inside 50s but they converted when we didn't, that last exchange being a great example.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
