Again. Lazy Jeremy Howe. Our forwards simply don't chase or attempt to put any defensive pressure on.

Watts streams into the 50, should be a goal, misses goals and teammate. Poor effort. Callum Ward streams into 50, goes purposefully for goal and kicks it. Go figure.

OMG Trengove you have to stick that tackle! Why are you there?

How was that not a mark to Gawn!?

Both captains are a disgrace. Hope neither are captain next year. No heart

[censored] these umpires. This is a [censored] joke

I hate being a Melbourne fan right now.

Trengove.. Slow, gets fooled by dummy handballs constantly, terrible tackler, no 2nd efforts. All he provides is those dumb little chip Cotchin kicks you see that barely travels the required distance. Pathetic.

Why do I bother watching this crap. It's GWS ffs, why does no one in this team look to care?

Half of these players need to really think where there at!!! I'd trade watts in a heartbeat!! Doesn't work hard enough!! [censored] poor football club!! Get stuff

Can't say I am shocked. It's hard to get angry too. I knew we are god awful. It's time to lay down the guns and raise a scotch.

It is highly frustrating that we are just this pathetic and GWS are soooo fast... Not happy.

How does Watts even think he has the right to question what the club is doing. Until he can even play at a B grade level he should be thankful he is even on an afl list

Players are playing poorly but Craig has out coached himself here.

2 big blokes up forward means they are going to kick high. GWS know it, win the crumb and transfer end to end with speed that is killing us.

Aside from that the footy club is showing nothing to make me want to support them for the next 3 years. That'll make it 10 years in the wilderness. We don't need a priority pick, we need a mini draft all for ourselves.

Tom Harley just sums it up after Spencer takes the mark, "He needs to show more urgency...".

In other words, "Turn around you peanut and get back behind the mark like Clint Bizkit keeps rabbiting on about...".

We tanked to get Trengove. Says it all.

This club HAD no idea.

PJ must just shake his head in disbelief.

15 players must be traded this summer.

They do not want to play.

the umpires are keeping us in it.

Whats this "Jezza" crap? It seems to be the worst attempt to market a player by giving him a obvious nickname. Did Vlad ring up from the U.S and tell Tom Harley to make sure he calls him Jezza?

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
