How to save loads of money and greatly improve our performance

I liked it - funny and true.

Can't say that I've got much time for the "mummy! that man posted something I didn't like" crowd though.

It's neither funny or true. We've finally revamped our recruiters with decent ones and we can already see Viney, Toumpas, Hogan, Kent, Terlich, Matt Jones performing well.

Random names would've been better than our old recruiters but we've made changes.

As for posts I don't like I have no trouble with bad posts but people creating threads just for one silly joke is a waste of time.

I only wish we did this when Prendergast was robbing this club.

Sack all the recruiters and just use the order of preference the Journos come up with.

wtf do you think we've been doing? Watts, Trengove, Scully, Morton, McLean, Sylvia, Toumpas - all of them went within one spot of where the so-called experts expected them to on draft day. The top 5 is very obvious every year and we haven't made any 'shock' choices in this regard.

If that's what we've been doing then my post is correct; just do what the journos say.

What pick was Morton and where did the newspapers place him? That's not a smart reply - I really don't know. What about Gysberts and Petterd?

Hey Master, I was being facetious with what I originally wrote but with some truth. And I think you are absolutely right with what you have written re re-vamp. I just can't understand why I've had such a strong reaction from some. That's pretty strong stuff to say I bring down the reputation of this forum. "Lock threads like this" - Really? I try to be a contributor to this site. I try not to inflame others. I generally try not to attack people with views I don't agree with. And you think I should be censored. Why are you called "The Master", is it something about your attitude?

Also, how closely have we followed general opinion after the first few picks - say 10 to 30?

Hey Master. I was being facetious

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm
