Co-incidence that only a day after Dyson Heppel  forcefully stated that players who don’t buy into the Essendon culture(cue mind boggle) should go elsewhere we hear that Joe Daniher might miss at least a month with a “groin”(cue anything they do not want public) injury that apparently has been bothering him since early in the year. No mention in the public domain that I recall of this niggle before today. Something smells.

Maybe the coach pharmacist will cook some good stuff for him.

Love how much he has matured since last year. Lets face it for a young man hes been through a lot.

Hogan for me as I believe he has a more competitive spirit. I also think he is better at ground level. Hoping he just keeps getting better.

Jesse is a Beast of a footballer and is showing AA form. How many clubs can boast a Jesse Hogan? Kick multiple goals collect  possessions in the high mid twenties randomly take marks,  can play midfield and bust packs. He is a Jewell.   Joe Daniher  is an awesome player at his best with an AA. I don't think he takes the game seriously though. lmo.

Jesse  will be even better as he has taken it to another level.

Chalk and Cheese people. Hogan at this stage is miles in front of Daniher and I suspect will remain so. No need to go on with this topic.

Joe is struggling right now. He might have a better career if he were to get out of Essendon at get a fresh perspective on the game. Doubt that happens but something isn't right. He is a good young player.

Joe has a face only a rimmer could love.

no comparison.  We have something special in Hogan.  Essendon have someone who thinks he is special in Daniher.  There is the difference.

The thing that I find funny is that bubble headed fan boy masquerading as a journalist, Slobbo, not only had Joe Daniher number 6 in his top 50 at the start of the year but Hurley and Merritt both in the top 30 as well. No other team had more than 3 in the top 30 and we only had one,  Max in the 20's.

I wanted to post after the game against Essendon that although Hurley played Ok we had so many better players out there that wouldn't have even been considered in the top 100 footballers going around in Slobbo's tiny little mind.

Coincidentally the jerk then comes out on the Monday and does a big write up saying there's something wrong with footy and the AFL has to fix it. Then all the lazy assed media jump on board.

I can tell you whenever Essendon gets beaten and Slobbo is all sad sack the AFL and footy is looking pretty damn good in my eyes.

He looks like a little kid at a dress-up party with a stick on moustache.

Kane Cornes stated Hogan is the successor to Nick Reiwoldt, when discussing his AFL team of the week yesterday.

Nothing more needs to be said.

Fair question, both ultra talented forwards. I would take Jesse, he is not necessarily better overhead but stronger in a pack and a much better kick.

Joe may have talent but I think he is an extremely dumb decision maker.

Slobbo can And does think what he likes .... EssUndone will always be right and best in his unbiased opinion.  Certain things have that effect on one’s little brain.

Daniher = spud

Most over rated footballer in the AFL bar none.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
