Thats it boys, show you care, we are not taking any crap today, loving it

[censored] the [censored] out of them boys!!

Loving Evans. Showing fight and isnt scared to get into it. Showing Trenners how a #2 draft pick should play

3 Things.

Tackle

Spread

Get the ball in Davey's hands more often.

Think i was on the money here!

Whatever the result, tigers overrated.

Slow, floating kicks.

good to see some argie bargie. Spirit.

Loving the spirit. Keep it up guys.

We lack polish, Davey shows just how big the gaps in skill are from some of the others

Why do Melbourne constantly kick to stationary teammates?

Why do Melbourne always kick to where a players is and not where he will / needs to be?

Constantly. So frustrating/bewildering.

I think we should be 3 or 4 goals in front, forget all the uncontested stats etc, most of them are cheap gets anyway, if we just took the stats Richmond would be 10 goals up. If we could only be more positive bringing the ball out of the 50 and play with a bit more freedom. Come on Neeldy, tell em if they forget all the hype they have been reading they can actually win this.

Go Dees !!!!

Don't care about a win or lose just want continued intensity - please melbourne.

only 9 tackles that quarter compared to 18 in the first - come out in the 3rd quarter firing!

How good a target is big Dawesy. Can't wait to get him and Clarke in together. How much are we missing Sylvia, wouldn't have to play Toumpas, who is so obviously not ready

Edited by Demon_spurs

If anyone sees Howe, Gawn, and Tapscott please let them know that there is a game going on, and we would like them to come and play if they aren't too busy.

Thanks.

Tell Strauss as well

Magner is a rookie who cannot play until someone is injured, Jetta gets himself suspended and Davey has had plent of matches... change the record dude.

yeah I know but magnet shouldn't have been rookied in a side that has few mids, Jetta was nit named in first two or three games despite preseason form and Davey has only been subbed on in most games for a quarter. Instead if telling me to change the records, start watching and get your facts right.

The Commentators love for Jake King [censored] me. Most people around the footy world know he is a piece of work outside of the game.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

It seems like only yesterday that these two sides faced off against each other in the centre of the continent. It was when Melbourne was experiencing a rare period of success with five wins from its previous six matches including victories over both of last year’s grand finalists.  Well, it wasn’t yesterday but it was early last month and it remains etched clearly in the memory. The Saints were going through a slump and the predicted outcome of their encounter at TIO Traeger Park was a virtual no-brainer. A Melbourne victory and another step closer to a possible rise into finals contention. Something that was unthinkable after opening the season with five straight defeats.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.
