Kent...a bloody footballer....howd he slip in !!

winners are grinners

I don't care - they are still feral.

Trenners just got his 4th possession for the game.

How long must we weigh him down with this captaincy?

I'm hoping Jack realizes this as well. It's tough for him to be giving orders when he can't get his own game in order.

I just like the fact we aren't giving into these p***s. They can take the result but don't let them take your pride boys.

Kent kicks his first goal...... [censored] get around him!

Sums up our culture, two players kicking their first goals, and they hardly get swamped.

you must be fn kidding umpire you maggot

Great to see the lads get around him after his first AFL goal.

how can that be a free kick!! let alone a report on tapscott! what is happening to this game. and gee didnt terlich shirk it

Great hit from the Tapster!!! Knock em senseless son. Usual over reaction by an ump who doesn't understand the nature of the game.. What the hell is this game turning into if that bump is free kicked and reported!

Well that was a bogus report.

Umpire appreciation my ass

melbourne MUST contest that... what a crock of sh!te !!

Tappy reported for that.

That umpire should be forced to publicly apologise for that stupid call.

The weakest report you will ever see on Tapscott there. Umpiring has been a joke today.

melbourne MUST contest that... what a crock of sh!te !!

It won't even go to tribunal.

Sums up our culture, two players kicking their first goals, and they hardly get swamped.

Maybe it's the fact that roughly 50 pts down?

melbourne MUST contest that... what a crock of sh!te !!

Won't need to, it will be thrown out before the end of the game.

Trengove should be dropped to Casey to find form. Sick of players being gifted games. Drop Trengove and let Jones step in as Captain till Jack finds AFL form.

Since when aren't you allowed to bump someone in the side? Surely that will get thrown out.

Imagine if the game was in the balance with 2 minutes to go in the last and he pays that free kick and a 50 against the Tapp for just being harder at it and getting his body into a better posi. Disgraceful decision and one which could turn a game for a team.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
