GAMEDAY - ROUND 5

You might as well go out and wash the car.

It does need a clean and a polish........

How do the players expect to stop opposition run on's when they are just sooking, need to fire up and show some heart

Worrying. The boys need to just keep fighting. If that happens, they can take something out of it. If the head goes down and the efforts poor, then this is a train wreck.

You can't win a game of football if your team can't get the ball.

Some of these guys would struggle at VFL level.

Sam Mayes is killing us. Seems every top 10 pick last year is doing well bar Toumpas

Frawley, trenners, sylvia all need some time at casey to find form, and more importantly desire. Im sure theres guys that would kill to play afl.

Our clearance set up makes me vomit.

Who needs the biggest loser when you have this...

I hate it when they take a guy off who just kicked a goal. Retarded.

Another ruck contest and clear possession to the lions who have time and goal . Do we train in clearance work at all?

Aaron Davey should have been interested into the game when we cut the lead to 23

Instead he is still wasting away on the bench

This is why Neeld will not last as coach. Stupid.

Yes but we don't want them to play well right from the start, we want to develop them, so we pick players that aren't up to AFL right now (sometimes ever) and watch them come on like most of our top picks over the last 10 years.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
