Clash Jumpers - what were the Hawks wearing tonight?

I know we've spoken about the stupidity that goes on at league headquarters regarding clash / alternative jumpers, but what jumper was Hawthorn wearing tonight against Collingwood? Why have they reversed their jumper to have a brown back with yellow numbers? And why would the AFL sign off on that when it moved Hawthorn closer to Collingwood's guernsey then ever before? What a joke.

It's a joke that we succumb and change our jumper to white, red and blue .

Hawthorn are trying to avoid their big white patch on the back from obscuring predominantly white teams like Geelong and Collingwood.

It's a nice theory, make subtle changes to then sell more jumpers in the shop.

Oh and this is the 21st century, clearly defined jumpers are what is expected for the TV audience. Get over the whole white jumper thing its not a big deal.

Quality teams win home or away and in whatever jumper they want and we need the dollars that come from away strips. Everyone listens to that Collingwood BS about not changing the jumper. It's because they are only black and white and can't come up with anything simple enough for their moronic crowd.

that doesnt mean they have to be white.

there is no reason (for example) we couldnt wear a 70s throwback light blue jumper with red away to teams like port and essendon. NONE. or the saints for that matter.

there is no reason we could not wear a jumper with a red yoke, navy below it for a few inches and then red again, effectively giving the jumper a blue v on a red background (use your imagination) for teams that still clash (like carlton).

in fact, there is no team i can think of where we would need to wear white at all, but still having a significantly different jumper.
