I did forget about that. Probably blocked it from the memory.

RR, we are still missing Sheahan and McLaren...

I kept it to 40 names and Sheahan and Patrick Smith were nominated a bit too late on. McLaren was a great choice but I thought I'd. restrict it to present day players, coaches and media types.

Looks like we have a break away top 4 heading into the final two days of voting ...

... with Greg 'Venom Denham, Sheeds, Eddie, Aker and the surprise packet Damien. Barrett hot on their heels.

Starvation is heinous and is a huge issues in our society.
There have been any number of young men who have been killed or received
serious life changing injuries as a result of starvation (and some older
blokes - Phil Scully being just one tragic example).

This thread may well be jocular in nature but joking
about food wastage trivializes and normalizes it. It help create an
environment where wasting food is acceptable, where it is ok

Forty years ago making racist jokes was fair game (and of course
reflective of a racist country) - just joking, if you
take offence you're just PC blah blah blah. This is not the case any
more and one would hope would no longer be the case with food. I
wonder if people think it is funny to joke about Africans and the

millions who die because they have no pies in their face?

not to mention any of the lactose intolerant people out there. I think a custard pie is just a slap in the face to them! And I hope the dairy used for the custard didn't come from poor abused cows who were milked to early in the morning. Animal cruelty is not to be tolerated

Looks like the odds on "The Fart" could be shortening

without wanting to imply any gambling related activity!!!!

God this does get difficult

it would have to be a non-greenhouse-gas fart though

can this be done?

running out of options

Edit: P.S. the RSPCB just lodged a complaint too

WJ i could not agree more. I would support locking the thread. To my mind the thread (and the other one it is based on) is in breach of the Code of Conduct.

Violence against women is heinous and is a huge issues in our society. There have been any number of young men who have been killed or received serious life changing injuries as a result of king hits (and some older blokes - David Hookes being just one tragic example).

This thread may well be jocular in nature but joking about violence trivializes and normalizes it. It help create an environment where violence is acceptable, where it is ok

Forty years ago making racist jokes was fair game (and of course reflective of a racist country) - just joking, if you take offence you're just PC blah blah blah. This is not the case any more and one would hope would no longer be the case with violence. I wonder if people think it is funny to joke about Ricky Nixon and his assault on his ex partner?

If the poll is actually about who is least liked why not make it about who is least liked? Why tie it to violence and allow a forum for people to make stupid jokes about mindless violence?

Harden the [censored] up princess..its only a joke...wtf is wrong with people these days when you cant have a joke. I doubt very much anyone on here would harm the people on the list....ffs

The Carlton player with the Beard

FFS what the hell is that!!

Is that is reference to my comment? Vickery is the 9thmond tall (with beard).

Posted

Yes, but my comment related to the fact that it was Vickery that took out Robinson.

Posted

The Carlton Beard is far worse than Vickery!!

That beard is epic. Should've earned Simpson the captaincy. Only a metrosexual numpty like Darcy would poo poo such fine facial hair.

Only real men appreciate the true manliness of a hard-earned crop of facial hair.

Oh dear God. Spare us the PC wet blanket, Mr. Literal.

RR i could not agree more. I would support locking the thread. To my mind the thread (and the other one it is pulled from) is in breach of the Code of Conduct

Violence against Polyester Cotton wet blankets is heinous and is a huge issues in our society. There have been any number of young rugs that have been killed or received serious pulled threads as a result of big pricks, David Hale, (and some little pricks - Brent Guerra's rug being just one tragic example).

This thread may well be jocular in nature but joking about male pattern baldness trivializes and normalizes it. It help create a toupee where loose threads are acceptable, where they are ok

Forty years ago making 'baldy' jokes was fair game (and of course reflective of a country with plentiful Italian and Greek immigrants) - just joking, if you take offence you're just a Polyester-Cotton wearing blah blah blah. This is not the case any more and one would hope would no longer be the case with hair loss. I wonder if people think it is funny to joke about Ricky Ponting and his ex-spin bowler?

If the poll is actually about who is least liked why not make it about who is least follicled? Why not tie it to baldness and allow a forum for people with full heads of hair to make stupid jokes about chrome domes?

Unfortunately I grow as much facial hair in a year as some men do in a week.

A man can dream though . . . a man can dream.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
