I didnt want to hijack or confuse the existing Supercoach thread.

Demon Land 7 setup last years supercoach with 3 leagues, and did a great job in organising the various leagues

Stynes / Barassi / Neeld leagues based on your previous years scores to determine who went into the various leagues.

I have spoken to him about doing the same this year. He, like some of us is a bit busy atm.So I will put it out there

and if there is enough interest to continue with the same concept.

I'll start with 2 leagues Stynes and the Barassi Leagues, if need be setup 3rd league .

The Stynes league was the top 18 highest scoring coaches , followed by the next top 18 etc etc.

Following are the list of coaches from the 3 leagues from last year.
If those named and interested could confirm and post last years supercoach scores we can begin to arrange who goes into what league for this year.

If you can confirm your interest with last years supercoach score we can begin the process of arranging who goes into what league. Anyone not listed feel free to post your name, and if available, your 2012 score.

Looking to be placed into a league are .....

1: Frenzy Mckenzie

2: CRomey

3. young dee enthusiast

Apologies all, there was an opportunity to re-create league and in my haste completely overlooked it. I'm happy with the same setup as last year with the same teams but at the same time, we did say we'd adjust people into leagues if they excelled in one and sucked in the other so I'm happy to do that again.

Once you sign up for the next year I don't think you can find your score from last year.... could be a concern :(

I won the Stynes league and enjoyed the standard of it so would like that one again, thanks

Whew!! Good to see you take the reins. If you need a lending hand..??

I had a crap year last year. so out to improve this time around.. (those byes killed me)

season score 46.500

I'll jump in an available spot if there is one, wouldn't be able to recall my last years stats if I tried, but I don't think I did terribly, team name Match Fixers.

I have 3 leagues set aside for the Stynes / Barassi / Neeld leagues. IF we have the numbers we are set to go.

Waiting on confirmation from DL7, as I am happy to let him organise the teams for each league etc

If I get his approval, I can or he can, announce the league codes for each seperate league. For the moment I'l take a back seat.

Im Interested again!

Scored around 48,500 last year I believe.

I'm keen. I can't remember my score last year. Have been doing SC for just a couple of years so at a guess I'd say Barassi League?

Can't find my score from last year, but I remember I lost a lot of form, I'd like to go back in the Barassi League and like Davey I think there is another good season in me.

Happy and Proud to be a part of the Stynes league again if considered - Finished 18,678th last year - down from 5395 the year before. So I feel as though I need to redeem myself. From memory I was middle of the road in the league last year.

i can't remember what i scored last lear but my avg was definitely inbetween 2000 - 2100, thats as close as i can get to what i scored

if anyone interested in Supercoach Draft league, I set one up with 6 spots left, the league code is 470063

Yeah im keen. Hopefully you can fit me in.. overall ranking last year of 4746. PB :)

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the  Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measly 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
