Is it just me, or does Dom Barry have really big hands compared to his skinny arms?

Reminds me of the pretty, green Tree Frogs we have up here in Qld...LOL

Yes Vagg spot on

Lets hope he can grip the ball as well as they grip trees

Has the camera man used a special setting on the camera? Looks almost fluro to me.

Its a completley different colour to the one seen in the recent portraits photos.

I get the feeling he is using a technique called HDR (high dynamic range)...it gives a greater depth of field and focus and is usually more vivid, but in this case I would suspect the photographer has desaturated the colour. This is all done as post processing using either Photoshop or purpose designed software such as Photomatix Pro. Now I bet I've confused you more than cleared anything up ;-)

No it is not just you.

If this is photo is accurate his hands are the biggest part of him

Must have a massive kerp

Would explain why he doesn't fumble.

Wow, if that bulge is his kerp, its bigger than i thought.

Maybe he can make movies if he fails at footy?

A clue faultydet?

One of my early bosses used to call me "kerp head"

He had a high opinion of me.

It must be love... :)

Either that or they are tracking a deadly alien Predator.....post-52-0-63821100-1359544176_thumb.jpg

The portaits are "pop-eyed" because the 'artist' behind the photos is using a wide angled lens as is capturing everything in great detail - both person and background...

It looks a little stupid to me but who the f___ cares?

Am I right?

Has anyone seen these new jumpers in the flesh yet? What are we looking at, the bright red or the darker red. More a fan of the darker red. Like that super imposed MFC emblem thing. Nice touch.

Barry's hands are freakishly big. Dem be big hands for catching!

Now all I'm going to be doing when watching Barry is looking at his hands. Thank you for indulging my soft case of OCD Demonland

Trengove sees something he likes in Clark's crotch. Can't say I blame him.

Who is that guy 3rd row second from the right?!

And Clark looks happy about it too ;)

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
