What paper work? If he's delisted doesn't he need to be picked up in the PSD?

Anyway I'm not as down in the dumps about him as most people, will cost nothin', as long as he doesn't keep Blease out of the side I can live with it.

Are we thinking:

Gysberts to Port

Jacobs to North

Pedersen & Pick 39 to Melbourne

Use Pick 39 on Ray???

Gysberts = Ray + Pederson? I'd do that deal.

For yet another rumor that I've heard today:

Gysberts to Essendon

Pears & Cripps (Saints) to West Coast

Brown & Pick 41 to St Kilda

Ray to Melbourne

So in essence Gysberts for Ray?

Lol

whoever is pumping out these rumors must really hate the MFC

A failed pick 4 for a failed pick 11.

Upgrade!

Gys hasn't failed yet, he had an injury riddled year and still did quite well in the VFL upon his return.

That is the reverse of the Martin deal and if you wanted to get rid of Gys you would do it. We get Ray and Pedersen for Gys.

Then we could trade Martin and 49 to Lions for 33 and keep 33.

I was thinking if Eagles want Morton can we try and get a straight swap for Ash Smith. Victorian boy might be happy to come home.

rumour melb is going for ben warren from north

Are we aiming to go below GWS and GC next year?

rumour melb is going for ben warren from north

If this rumour doesn't die soon, I just might.

Get your Mc & Mac right OL.

We aren't getting rid of Tom

He did get it right, he wants to trade Tom.

On Trade Radio a Liam Pickering (Player Agent) has just said that North was also interested in Rodan. Am I alone in feeling happy about this giving they're being unreasonable with their demands for pedersen???

alos apparently we are talking to port about Jacobs

Good out of contract pick up in PSD

You need to read a couple of the other threads. This was a troll exercise that caught Jay CLark...

What the hell are we doing? Byrnes, Rodan, Dawes on half a mill a year!! Looking at a very average outside player in Ray, a VFL swingman, and Ben Warren!

Welcome to trading for beginners.

We've got a new regime making the decisions. Let's assume a group of professionals know what they are doing until it's proven otherwise. After all, their future depends on them getting things right (unlike us posters).

Like how we assumed the group of professionals of the last 5 year would work and knew what they were doing?

I don't think we have to assume they're doing whats needed, as this infers we're all worried about the direction, of getting cheap mature players onto our list, as we jettison some young ones who haven't put in.

I think there are many here who are happy we are grabbing some mature types who can take the wheel & charge a new direction, as our kids relearn they're ways.

I, for one am happy with this sudden change, But would have liked to have had P13 or P20 still available for the draft. But all in all, am relieved on our direction so far.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
