Dillon and Parke

Recommended Posts

only problem with Dillon was he seldom looked for Vagg.

an interesting pc of trivia. frosty miller and pat flaherty once tagged teamed dillon and parke in a two on two social work match. dandy came up trumps and that was how parke first seriously injured his knee.

most of us on this forum would be guilty of not looking for vagg from time to time. just to stay on topic, "Mr. Vagg".

Highly unusual for a footy player to constantly ignore [censored].

When I wasn't playing it was all I was interested in.

As a new poster who made a trade suggestion in another thread I was immediately called a fool, idiot and even a troll by various posters.

Is this the way mods allow newcomers to be treated on this site? Abused straight away? Disappointing if so.

Removing thaipantsmans post on this thread is censorship.

It seems there can be no open discussion about the performance of the Moderators whatsoever!

Why is this?

They are part of the boys group they got going on around here, you'll come to get used to the flogs.

Get out, don't come onto this beautiful forum and go mouthing off. The amount of work the moderators have to do is absolutely enormous, and generally with any gratitude.

If you're not happy leave the website, I'm sick of you already.

NTRD, I'm sorry that happened to you, there certainly are people who you need to be aware of and simply ignore. One Moderator picked me apart the other day when I was simply making my point of an issue. Sometimes sh!t happens, but don't join the discussion on how that is the moderators fault, think how much traffic goes through here... It's a second unpaid job to look after this and as new members you should be even more grateful that they allow you to have a domain where you can post like we do about our Demons.

Fair enough Demonland7. Appreciate the feedback. It's been quite easy to see who the small-minded abusive types are, so I'll just ignore them.

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
