I am a Watts defender, but he is lazy as.

Can somebody inform the Fox Footy commentators that it is not 2002?

They are blowing their horns over some "breaking news" they will reveal at half-time.

Meanwhile I have this thing called the internet, which tells me Mark Williams has resigned from GWS.

You heard it here first.

That is the worst deliberate out of bounds I've seen.

The crowd may as well have the whistle in their mouths.

Couldn't agree more.

Is he wanting the Carlton job. Surely he won't be considered for the Port Adelaide position.

Jack Trengroves skills and fitness is terrible to watch. In any other team on his form this year he would not get a game

I've lost count of the number of times he's kicked it straight down the throat of a Freo player.

He and McKenzie are very slow of foot and of mind. McKenzie may as well just yell out that he is going to handpass the way he telegraphs it.

Here's the funny bit: the blogosphere reckons he cracked the sads after missing out on the senior coaching gig. So he's joining Richmond in a development role that doesn't require him in the coaches' box at all. Go. Figure.

Every now and then we get to see a shot of Mark Neeld in the coaches box. He looks like he can't wait for list lodgment day. Lots of dead wood here folks.

Nice to see Green with some kind of a coaching/mentoring role in the rooms at half time. I wonder if this means he may have a role with the club in 2013.

They say that it "ain't over until it's over" but I think for most of us, 2012 has been over for a while.

Still, it will be good to officially lay the season to rest.

Can anybody see any redeeming features coming out of tonight's game?

I can. for one great to see Colin Sylvia's endeavour. He's a star and has proved this over the past 2 months. He does it all under extreme adversity. Jack Grimes and jack Watts continue to get better

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses.
