THUMPER!

Love it

Or listens to what every other news outlet is already saying...

He works at a news outlet ;-)

Group hug?

I'll even hug jcb if you can find him -- I'm ecstatic!

Well there ya go!

It was all over the radio, but very very happy in any case - today we celebrate a great victory for the club!

Tomorrow, we get to work.

Group hug?

That's Rpfc and Benny-H in the blue and grey hoodies ...

oh.. my.. god..

This bloke was a top 3 for most of the year and at one stage some sources thought he was whitfields equal, surely we had a gentlemens with GWS for him to slip. I suppose we will never know!

Anyway, regardless of how it happened I'm stoked!

Grundy is a huge slider.

Can't believe how far he slipped! Who cares though, TOOOOUMPAS!!!

whammy!

Already trending on twitter. They have said on the radio line him up for round 1. Our midfield looks better and better and at least Jones will have some support. Moloney who?

Just interviews him sounded like he wanted to be drafted by dees he is pumped

wow what a kid , just had him on fox , what a smile , he cant wait to get over and play for melbourne

wow

Grundy is a huge slider.

We could have had Grundy with the Dawes trade? Am I right?

Very very nervous......

Sounds like our membership should go up by a few hundred with the crowd he had at the draft.

Was great to see how pumped he was, looks much better in a Melbourne jumper than the croweater one.

Nah buddy we gave up 21 that became 20 and was used on Tim Broomhead. Still a few good names on board for the PSD; Matthew Haynes and Sam Colquhon are two I was suprised didn't find a home.

he is a massive risk and looks soft, i dont like him at #4

Always one in every crowd

he is a massive risk and looks soft, i dont like him at #4

Wow thats a dumb comment. He looks soft? Go check out Anderson Silva he looks soft and he would break every bone in your body. Jimmy can play there is no doubt about it.

Jeez, someone's gone early...

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
