Umpiring bloody killing us especially In front of goal I have counted about 3 free kicks for the scum that were very dubious.

Maybe we could wait for the game to start before we start slagging the players?

He's in the team, give him a chance.

Ok,20 minutes in,Bail kicks to Robinson for a GOAL,stupid mistake BAIL!!!

Channel 7 commentary, is Melbourne negative. Cometti " I don't want to be negative but I reckon Watts could have done more" Struth watts didn't even know he was coming

Ascendancy lost due to some brain fades. Whilst we lead by 1 point at qtr time, you have to question the mentality of some of the players. Twice Rivers was caught out of position due to poor kicking going out of bounds or lack of vision.

Great goal by Blease. Undisciplined Frawley's on Robinson late which cost virtually a direct goal.

3 stupid mistakes for 3 goals.

Winning the CP 40-38 but 14 tackles isn't enough.

Someone get on Simpson, before he racks up 40.

He could have met the ball or made a contest using peripheral vision. Rather than sit back and wait. The kicker should have been smarter.

I cann't believe what you've just said. this is a clear example of how Watts' softness costs us goals. Its just embarrassing. The ball was coming in and he looked to the side to see the carlton player closing so he DECIDES to let the ball come to him so he won't look accountable and won't cause a collision. Cometti just said what everyone else was thinking. Watts is so F#ckin' soft

The kick was inexcusable but Jack did NOT attack the ball - rather decided to wait and see.

One thing that is very noticeable - when Carlton players give off a handball they always then lay a shepherd: our guys don't. Something to learn.

Great kick by rivers to set up Bail. Bail to Clark, good mark . Goal !

Edit: Hampsons height and lead too much trouble for Rivers. Midfield needs to put more pressure on.

Gee we look a million times better when using the corridor.... hint hint Neeld

Players should do that playing junior football.

Surely Rivers ain't the match for Hansen physically -- Sellar?

Hampson is destroying Riv in the one on one.

Maybe in marking contests, but he's only kicked what 1 goal? And Riv has setup MOST of our play, I'd take that as a matchup

Garland on Betts is the WAYYYYY more worrying matchup

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
