Stef Martin off for Dunn....

As another poster said, shuffling deckchairs on the Titanic

Dunny's come on to run the water to the tigers players.

Gee this is making Bailey look really good.

Good like finding our top three today / Jeremy Howe and then daylight

The 10 hungriest Casey players get a game next week.

HEARTLESS.

Grimes lays a tackle and knocks himself out???? Sums it all up really.

And now Grimes gone for next week.

Garland LIVID with Bate not coming to the ball. Just standing there like a statue. Toig's goal.

Just had a look and, at 3/4 time, 16 of the top 18 possession getters on the ground were Tigers. I don't care what the game plan is, we are never going to win games of footy with stats like that...

That is astonishing.

I sure as [censored] hope Neeld knows what he's doing with this game plan because early evidence is that it's a drowning dog.

Not really. That third quarter said everything about where the club is at. Heads dropping left right and centre. ESPECIALLY centre.

Straight thru to the keeper.

West Coast pick a Gaff at no.4. We pick Morton. And people want to debate that it's not our recruiting ...

Talk about apples and oranges, they picked Masten before Morton both are not up to it, amI right to say had we not beaten Carlton in that last game, we could have had taken Kruezer or Cotchin

Dunny's come on to run the water to the tigers players.

The tiges are getting worn out.... haven't realised they could still be slamming the goals on at walking pace with a can in one hand and a pie in the other against our blokes

I'm watching Edi/Asp V Chelsea and 10 of these blokes would get a game with us.

Disgraceful, glad Jimmy didn't get to see this.

Watching Davey... I thoght he played well... but he's gotten 8 touches.... weird.

Any one that big lump on Grimes shoulder when he limped off?

How can other teams pick players like Buddy Franklin at picks like #5 and we are picking Cale Morton at #4, and a stupid [censored] that chases money at #1? Not to mention all our #7-20 picks that other teams have picked up gun midfielders...

Disgusting footy club. Some of the blame has to go to Neeld now. We were good enough for 8 wins last year. We habvent gotten 15 goals worse against the Tiges in one off season.

His job may be to win flags, not individual games, and he ay believe hardening us up is the way...

But I can't see why teaching them to toughen up means you have to humiliate them too.

What's happened to Davey's tackling. Not one has stuck today.

"I will get you fitter, tougher, and give you a game plan."

What year will this happen Mark?

What's happened to Davey's tackling. Not one has stuck today.

He's weak as [censored].

What odds for a winless season?

Whats the odd of a season without one Brownlow vote.

Don McLardy wonders why 10,000 members haven't re-signed this year!!!

Our players don't deserved to be paid, donate your match payment to Reach, you weak, heartless bastards.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
