What a strange economy we have?

Webjet, choosi, EW, iSelect...

How do they make so much money?

Its like ChildCare rpfc, people now are just obsessed about outsourcing anything/everything in their life

Hmmm, wonder if we could outsource a team whilst we (re)develop our youngsters on the side

They all make money off the back end. The companies actually selling the products offer incentives to these agencies in order to sell their products (whether a flat fee or a percentage).

In Webjet's case, it's much like a travel agent (Flight Centre, etc.)

Yeah, that is true.

It's like we have 'Woolworthed' things like plane travel and health insurance...

"I don't want to go across the street! I want all my health insurance options on the one shelf!"

We bring the EWs (appopriate acronym...) on ourselves.

If rumour is true, I wonder if it is FOJ or BOJ and if there is to be another ,major sponsor announced soon

Maybe FB would be interested? TIC

Quick review of WebJet Annual report show them to look like a proper company. Listed on ASX, above average share growth for last 5 years, good revenue and margin, aquisition and growth overseas.etc.

Eddie? My god, that really taints it for me.

Leaves a real bad taste in my mouth.

At least we received a $500K payment just before the collapse of the EW deal.

OK...heres somethign left field

We had a BOJ deal with EW. Everyone for the most part was happy as Larry with this.

Why not approach them now that Pollis is no more todo with them and suggest we pick things up again as an act of faith in two directions. We probably wont ask the same as we were on bit if we could get 1 Million upwards p.a . then really whatharm is there ??

Remember the beef was with Pollis...NOT Energy watch .

just an idea

This is where the opportunityis. All the angst is against Pollis. is is not? hes gone. EW WILL rebuild.. dont think they wont. Too much already in place to not to. But they have work cut out , they need conduits, they need partners.

We NEED money. We showed the world we have cohunas but we dont have to cut off nose to spite face. Its a rebirth, and an opportunity.

This wouldnt be going back to a girlfriend....shes gone. If you dont see that then you have very limited vision and thats not how i have come to think of you.

This IS for brave thinkers. . Not everyones cup of tea but its a golden opportunity

I think Cameron has had enough of being entrepreneurial just at the moment. He would be walking on broken glass until he renews his contract.

The due diligence this time round would be horrendous and at the end it would have to rate as high risk

Won't happen and shouldn't.....we move on. Just hope they stitch up a BOJ sponsor soon

Crazy idea.

We are a better investment because of the stance we have taken, Big step backwards and it simply won't happen. How p)*ed off would would Webjet be after they announced that our handling of the EW matter was one of the reasons that they jumped on board. They would not want to appear on the same jumper.

Energy Watch is a tainted name.....WALK AWAY.

If EnergyWatch were, as reported, having trouble keeping up with their payments, the situation would have only gotten worse. There's been a significant backlash from not only the energy suppliers, but one would think their customers as well.

I'd be extremely surprised if they could afford a major sponsorship in their current situation.

Well , obviously you'd need to be returning something (like a pot plant)

It would be more like going to see your ex-girlfriend's hot Mum who is recently divorced. She'll need to get back on the bike (so to speak) at some stage, but you know you shouldn't do it.
