I heard the Blease rumour a couple of weeks ago.

The rumour was that he missed that team meeting because he was in Sydney talking with GWS.

Proof actually works better than rumour .

Scull and Blease aren't important players enough for me to care yet anyhow .

I believe in Sam

He was in Sydney visiting Tom Scully. They are very good friends.

Ive heard from someone who went to school with a current Demons player that Sam Blease doesnt want to be a Dee and wished he could have followed Scully (whom he was very close with).

TBH, I can't imagine $cully being close to anyone, has the heart of a snake

His obviously close to his dad - but not close enough to be aware that he was offered a position back in Feb...

Because he had the good sense to leave the MFC for $6 million.

Seemed a no brainer to me

I think this is a case of guilty by association and unfair on Blease. The OP doesn't even make any sense. Who is this current demon who has leaked this info to a friend of Norm Smith's Curse and how could NSC know this without anyone at MFC hearing about it. [censored] rumour.

Everything is close to his dad- he has his own gravitational pull.

What a joke!!! the Rumor i'm hearing is that about 45% of the MFC, list will be delisted at years end.....(including Blease!!!!).....

They can all [censored] off for all i care!!!!!!! they are weak as [censored]!!!! I can play better than half the list and given the chance i'd prove it!!!!!!!!

gotta laugh at "has not developed". he [censored] snapped his leg when he was 18 and has played what, 5 or 6 games now?

gonna call this out though, the OP has no source, he just matched Blease's [censored] performance with the fact that he was friends with Tom.

could be just a poor april fools joke also

How quick some people turn on our players after hearing some "rumour" from some random bloke...

A long hard trip to WA will test and show the true character of all those who are selected to play. I hope Neeld and the selectors look at character and dedication even before talent and form for this trip.

Another "performance" like Saturday's and there will be calls for blood: I hate to admit it but anything within 50 points will be seen as some sort of positive turnaround, which is really very tragic for our club.

Any more of this "I don't like being left out of the leadership group" etc, if at all true, must surely mark the end of some careers and sadly possibly the beginning (or some would say continuation, recently gallantly and briefly interrupted) for the club: the club that those who worked so hard since 186 to build up.

to all the idiots saying break a leg u can [censored] right off this website! no matter who the person if u dont wish that upon anyone. and the dad jokes are a disgrace! sams dad died right in front of him couple of years ago in there livingroom while sam was watching tv!!

But can his dad recruit?

Bazinga.

This Rumour may or may not be true but can we leave his father out of it please.

IIRC his father passed away a couple of years ago, and from what I hear his father played a pivotal role in football quarters and was very well respected.

The kid will be a gun. Let's hope he will be fully committed going forward.

If he does want to leave then I hope it is known by the coaching staff and dealt with accordingly.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
