Thanks for all the support I hope it will get us some more members that's what I'll judge the success of this video on :-). For those that couldn't view it were you on a mobile device? Because of copyright issues with the song I used they won't let me make it available to mobiles. If you need to search for it just type Melbourne football club and set the filter to the last couple days. Thanks again to everyone that is sharing this and GO DEES!

Yes on an iPhone. Will try on my PC.

Cheers

Nice work Muzza! Wiz's mark ALWAYS puts a huge smile on my face.......had to beat the Toigs to make the finals and the game was ours after 20 minutes! What a day!!

Thanks everyone for your hard work we are fast approaching 300 views (which I think is good lol) hope some of those convert into members for the club! Keep up the good work and Go Dees tonight!

355 views in one day! Demons membership at 25,618 hopefully some of them was from this video! Family day today might see some of you there!

Robbo also said he liked it but apparently needed more of the old players in it lol I thought I'd put in quite a few myself. James Frawley sent me a MSG aswell saying he couldn't view it! Damn YouTube but hopefully it's also getting around to some potential members. 450 views now on YouTube not bad but I reckon we can do better! Let's smash 40,000 this year! It's time we went up another level.

Great stuff!

That Frawley chase on Jetta is one of the greatest highlights I've ever seen, never get tired of watching it, it's inspirational. Doesn't give up.

Great work, great footage. Very well put together, well done !

Muzza,

You are a legend. LOVE IT

Out of interest, where'd you find it? Is it accessible on the net anywhere?

Was in some footage from a tv special showing Highlights from 2000-2010 can't remember what it was called...

Superb work 'DemonMuzza' .

Cheers .

AWESOME bit of work Muzza, I'm very emotional about our DEE's & this bought some moisture to the eyes, just love it!

2 things that stood out for me;

1. How good could Trapper have been? We didn't get the best out of him. If there has been a player on our list in the past 20 years with silkier skills than him, I'd like to know who they are. Regardless of your personal opinion of him, his best was every bit of a superstar, just a shame we didn't get to witness it enough.

2. Has any Club had to deal with as much crap as we have had to since the merger days? While I take a strong interest in all clubs, I can't remember any of them having such a roller-coaster ride like we have had to deal with. Maybe the Kangaroos have put up with a fair bit, but we've had proposed mergers, finals every 2nd year, flogged in a grand final, 2 wooden spoons in a row, the Broadbridge tragedy, 186, $cully.

I was very emotinal watching the youtube clip (bugger you Muzza!!). I support the Demons because of my late father who passed last year, and sadly, we never got to share the ultimate success with each other. Looking at the ride we've been on, especially since 1987 (I, like many on here, was at the Western Oval, and sadly at VFL Park), you have to sometimes ask yourself "why the bloody hell do I barrack for these guys?" Doesn't take long to realise that you only have red and blue blood running through you, and that question of why fast becomes a question of why not. I had a friend's Mum ask me last year "who is your 2nd favourite team", my answer was simple, "Melbourne". I don't have 2 teams, I am Melbourne and only Melbourne. I can't imagine what it feels like to win a premiership, but I have a feeling that it will be the most satisfying and emotional day ever.

Well done Muzza. Excellent stuff. If only I knew people who follow the AFL who don't support scum teams.

Thanks for all the support guys the views are still climbing! Haven't had any msgs from anyone saying they've viewed it and signed up yet hopefully that doesn't mean it isn't happenning. Billy it's that sort of passion for our club that's kept us going and will be what leads us into the future!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
