Apparently being sited for using pressure points on the defender brown in one of there wrestles.......damn

It is on the herald sun page, but the link seems to go to anotehr article, shows a pretty damning photo

Yeah noticed that as well, doesn't look good......

Oh Brown? You mean the guy that whacked Sylvia behind the play? Yeah, he's a [censored].

Theyve been so desperate all year for GWS to beat us they now think getting Clark suspended for it is the only way they can make it happen

long time reader, first time poster, this guy has made me start posting! He just keeps launching at the football with incredable intensity and courage, never beaten in one on one's, and his kicking for goal has been sensational! Worth every cent we payed for him and more!

Agree wholeheartedly mus0003. He's made more than a few journos and ex players eat their words. They were all so content to bemoan the Demons for paying superstar $ for a good ordinary player. NONSENSE. This bloke is the real deal. Built like Tarzan and plays like freakin' Tarzan.

Although 10 games is a short period of time to judge it would appear this guy has taken his game to another level at the Dees despite the jibes of the media, being at a new club, making sizeable money and having a comfy long term deal. Must be applauded. The Dockers will be spewing they missed out!

I was a little sceptical of what Clark would bring to the table at the start of the year, but to date he's been a revelation up forward and more than holding his own when he goes into the ruck, as well as providing leadership on the park and around the Club.

On target for 50 goals for this season.

Could even make the All Aus squad if his game reaches another level the second half of the year (and delivery to him the forward line improves).

Clark >Coleman>2013

We gave up pick #12 for him...has been a great deal for us....the truck load of cash he is getting...well he deserves it.

Agree with all the positives above. What I hope is that other Demons learn from, and emulate, his desparation and toughness at the ball. If a few more did this, there would be no further discussion of "bruise free football". Also, to those who claimed he was overpaid - "chew on ya jocks"!

i want us to be succesful so we can repay Mitch for his amazing efforts.

Captain material similar to a Neitz or Lyon....a leader of men.

GUN! God I've missed having a big forward, got myself a new favourite player!! Doing Jim proud!!!!

hear hear !!

who got drafted at 12 last year?

hows he going for brisbane? pretty sure we came off best from this trade

12 SAM DOCHERTY

(Gippsland Power, 18, 185cm, 83kg)

A half-back who seems made for the modern game with his ability to read the play well, get into good spots and make his disposals count. Smart, quick player who never seems to lose his head.

Yet to play his first game for Brissie.

So? he was also injured all pre season

A strong second half to the year (and more wins) could see him in AA contention?

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
