A leader to get behind

After yesterdays loss, Bailey will be gone.. If not this week, it will be in five weeks time. I have been a fan of him, but its not working and we will cut our losses.

That solves one problem, but I believe a leader from outside will help us progress into a decent team.

Like Judd did for the blues, who can we get into our club? In that age bracket of 24 - 28ish-29?

I would be throwing big money at one of these guys and trying to get them into our club for the leadership and give our younger mids someone to build around and learn from.

None of them will leave their clubs to join us. Ironically, Sewell wanted to come to the Dees several years ago in a proposed transfer with Ryan Ferguson. Great decision that one.

I hope that snipe was aimed at Ferguson, because he's the reason the deal didn't go through. Since Ferguson was contracted he had to assent to the trade; he didn't.

The idea is right given our problem with mature onground leaders. By their nature and standing within their clubs, they are not available at almost any price.

He gets & uses very well the one thing we hardly get.

I've watched a couple of Eagles games this year and if I was going out there to throw money at an elite player, with leadership, it wouldn't be Priddis.
