I am happy that the Bailey experiment is finally over. If he is not sacked tomorrow, the board is incompetent.

Viney must be appointed interim coach, so we can smash the blues.

There has never been a better time to appoint a new coach. Look who is on offer;

Malthouse

Mathews

Roos

Laidley

Viney

Williams

Thompson

Bailey should have been put on notice after the round 1 humiliation in 2010. To all you demonland members who have allowed the club to degenerate to this level by accepting sub-standard performances, you are as much to blame as the board.

People have forgotten that this is a warrior sport.

Nothing to be gained by this. Let Bailey play out his contract. Are we really going anywhere in 2011?

Exactly what I am talking about. Pathetic

Not sacking Bailey is club endorsement of the garbage the team displayed. There's no talking around a result like that, and as the key member of the football department, and a coach presiding over a 26% winning ratio after 4 years in the gig, it's now time for him to go.

What are you talking about?

Why are the members of Land to blame?

I really hate this bullsh!t, you are confused and irate and you should be - but don't go looking for a fight on Land by claiming we are to blame for this mess.

So let me get this straight. A football team of 22 players goes out to play a game of football led by a coaching staff of what (7-10??) people put in place by board of however many and you think that the blame for the poor performance of said team is as much the fault of commoners sitting at their computers talking garbage as it is their own???

I am not confused and actually I feel rather relieved. Finally, finally the truth has become obvious to even the most blind of supporters. Bailey is done. If the members had a bit more pride and self respect, Bailey would not have been allowed to last as long as he did. For heavens sake, a majority of members on this forum wanted Bailey to continue coaching to thevend of the year. Can't you see you have been deluded. As supporters, we can't allow such pathetic performances. By accepting these performances, we create a [censored] weak culture which permeates thru the whole club. We are the voice, we are the power. We decide if he stays or goes, and I am afraid that most of you wanted him to stay. You are now proven wrong.

Easy to get on now and drum yourself up notradames....where have you been with your genius all season. No that's right just pop up now blaming anyone you can find. Bailey has to go and so should you....

Hahaha, there have been many of us stating the obvious for a long long time. It's just that when people like you hear something you don't agree with, you tell us to get off the site. Well, the proof is in the pudding. Many of you have egg on your face.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
