What there is grass on your couch? Do you live in a paddock?

That's couch grass, pronounced kooch, and is the most common green stuff that grows wild in back yards, public parks, reserves and just about anywhere else that isn't tropical rainforest or overrun by wild camels. It is not grass that grows on furniture, unless your furniture is out in a paddock somewhere, with alpacas around to provide fertiliser ...

Is this the Brian Cook that could soon be CEO or coach from that other thread?

I think I would remember that :) The dog has been acting strangely of late, though, and he spends more time on the couch in the back yard than anyone else ...

Speaking of moderation, what are the lads giving up for this month? If you are on the wagon, at the very least they could give up couch grass ... :)

The lads are quite immoderate in their habits, however, I have not noticed them brewing up as much mate as usual.

Speaking of inanity, where is the Jizza? I presume his feeble challenge has finally collapsed and he has gone into hiding with a carton of smokes

And at the end of your fast are you planning on changing your name to bacon & eggs?

Some good rain for Jazza and his mates.

Got the thunder and lightening, but bugger all rain.

Thanks for the thought's though.

Danced around the house in the nude for an hour and that didnt seem to inspire rain,so at a loss to figure out the gods.

'Dance like nobody's puking at the sight

Sing like you can't hear the dogs howling at you

Laugh like you just saw a cream pie thrown in Christopher Pine's face

Love like you don't care that you'll lose 50% of your assets in the end'

Gee you were a bit stiff Jazza, I was down at Anglesea last night and it rained steadily from about 6 p.m to 6 a.m with some heavy downpours for a good hour early morning. The rain must have been coming in from the east rather than the south west.

Yes, apparently dancing around the house nude can have that effect.

Yes I realised that was a poor usage of words but did not want to erouse Jazza anymore than normal so did not correct myself. Jazza spends most of his time milking cows, following the Dees as well? Forget the other strange behaviour,

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die!
