The news is saying he was epileptic, but sad he passed away

No he got a virus, I think called Norse Virus, which induces seizures like bad epilepsy. Tragic news.

    FMD!! You actually measure this stuff? Christ Jazza you play this hard working dairy farmer role but you also lead a life "on the the other side". Nonetheless Biffen and I want to sign on. Daise would like to but he can't give up the blue rinsers. 1800 teats a day - amazing.

    I would be off the AFL demanding multiple PP's if they want us to not stuff up their next broadcast rights deal and attendances, not to mention inbalance to the ladder. Now is the time to get aggressive with the AFL and get a committment.

This, despite the fact that the AFL has rules which indicate we're definitely entitled to draft assistance by any measure.

    WJ I am one that believes we should get over this " a priority draft pick will fix everything" attitude and I still believe it.

    Now that does not mean I don't think we deserve one or need the help provided.

    It is the attitude that annoys me.

    The MFC has bought us to this point the point.

    The MFC chose the last two coaches and FD"s, we chose poorly at the draft table, we chose poor management.

    It has taken us a decade to grind down to the worst list in the competition.

    The competition owes us bugger all we have bought 95% of this on ourselves.

    IMO it is going to take us at least another three years ( including 2014 ) to become even competitive with the top six sides.

    The AFL will only put up with us until the end of the this TV contract as they need the games we provide.

    If we have not dragged ourselves up by then we are in serious trouble for our very existence.

    How many people will watch the Game tomorrow on Foxtel?

    I suggest a few thousand. The broadcasters probably already see us as expendable.

    The future does not look good to me.

    Now you can say I am negative but in my opinion we are at deaths door

      The Southport Sharks came to Casey. They saw and they conquered a team with 16 AFL-listed players who, for the most part, wasted their time on the ground and failed to earn their keep. For the first half, the Sharks were kept in the game by the Demons’ poor use of the football, it’s disposal getting worse the closer the team got to its own goal and moreover, it got worse as the game progressed. Make no mistake, Casey was far and away the better team in the first half, it was winning the ruck duels through Tom Campbell’s solid performance but it was the scoreboard that told the story.
