That too long! I have a feeling it will take a long time before we have any more success. The club appears to be an on/off field basket case again 🤔 😳 😐 To start the process of recovery we need to sack everyone who has been associated with the Collingwood Football Club and NEVER again recruit from this den of rat bags again.  Also feel this approach should taken against anyone thats had any association with the Essendon  Football Club. We need Peter Jackson back again 😢 😫 😔

Is that the Peter Jackson that was CEO of Essendon?

Asking for a friend 🙂

That’s why rules can be exempted.

They are not exemplary.

Did Jai Culley miss out on getting picked in the SSP because his name sounds suspiciously like the bloke who can’t be mentioned here?

Well that could be a reason, but I think he is still a chance, depending on how the club sees the best way for Kentfield to use this season.

If they move him to the LTI, that may open up a spot and still allow Luker to play a few games with Casey, once he gets fit later in the season.

That would take a lot of pressure off him and allow us to add a player who is ready to play, straight away.

A poster reminded me how quickly unpleasant memories can resurface, when he said how lucky it was that our new recruit Jai Culley's first name didn't start with an S.

A classic reason why we need a "chunder" emoji ... 😃

Saw Clarry at Ciaron Maher stable doing interviews yesterday.

Update on horse he is in with me. Has been disappointing lately and it is having probably its last start for us on saturday, in race 4 at Edenhope.

It’s number 1 and prophetically called     “ centre square “.

Tbh, I only took a share, ignoring my usual selection methods, because Clarry was involved.

  • THE STATS FILES: St. Kilda

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, we’ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binman’s Stats Files. Not because it isn’t important; quite the opposite. It’s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
