Dear, sweet 640… you do know there’s places on the internet other than Demonland that are teeming with Bristols, right? These sites are also free, and you don’t have to trawl through the MFCSS in order to see said Bristols… and they’ll bring more than a smile to your face 😜

Greetings erstwhile bs wordsmiths. It’s been wayyy too long since I dipped my big toe into the murky swamp of this thread. What’s become of all my favourite warriors? Bitters, Old Dee, Frog, Hemingway. Have you drowned in a puddle of single malt /shiraz/ debauchery (BBO)? Have you lost your way and actually now discuss football? Surely at least one of you will be talking about the boys training up a storm? Helloooo?

I'm too busy debauching to post !!!

I know you need a break between debauches, you can use that to post.

I got told off for my habit of being a little sarcastic and nasty when talking to my friends and now as a result I have changed to a full time, saccharine sweet guy, giving off continual compliments to them and it is driving them crazy.

Trying to take my mind off all things Dees, I just bought the magic, bread fresh container from Global Direct.

I am looking forward to eating bread that is not covered in mould.

Oi Red, update on the bread box please. If it truly keeps the bread from growing new and interesting species I will swim the Pearl River to get one.

Pfft. I had a needle and an old rag. The needle was for both writing and for drawing blood from my fingertips. For the rest of my life the ends of my fingers all look like [censored].

It’s about whatever you want it to be about.

From what I understand there’s only one topic that’s NOT under any circumstances to be discussed, and that’s T.S. The ‘No BS’ part of the title is exactly that… BS, coz there’s a [censored]-tonne of BS strewn throughout the thread. In fact BS forms the very foundation of the thread. Without the BS this thread would be lucky to reach two pages in length.

Anyways, ima introduce an unpleasant topic, that being Shingles. Because I’m currently afflicted with the dreaded Shingles. Not the shingles on a roof, nor the sign outside a professional’s practice in days of old and not the women’s hairstyle from the 1920s. Nope, the Shingles of the I hope I’m well enough to go to Sydney on Thursday variety. 😢

See? This thread is about whatever you want it to be about.

Thanks Deeves 💕

I’ve had it once before, years ago and it was an awful experience. This time it’s way milder so I’m hoping to be ok to go to our opening round match. Fingers crossed. As well as…

Join the club. I’ve been on the site for years and it remains a mystery. That is its charm and intrigue. Like Seinfeld It’s a thread about nothing. The other threads purport to be about something whereas this thread is really about nothing. Some odd balls , eccentrics, and philosophers pretend it has a deeper meaning particularly with the constant reference to bananas. For a long time I thought this was Freudian mumbo jumbo however it defies analysis and like life has no meaning. It’s just nonsense.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
