In this modern world of enlightenment and high regard for minorities, I am coming out and admitting, "I like Midori and really like Kahlua".

As for wine, I dislike reds and don't really like whites.

Shiraz-yuk.

I have a Rose' here that will be right up your alley then Red

Philistines , Mongols, barbarians at the front door ..... what is this thread coming to?

I have tried endlessly to add some refinement to this thread but , apparently, I have failed miserably.

I'll say it again. The only libation for a refined gentleman is .... of course Shiraz.

Follow Uncle Bitter's advice - you won't go wrong!

A good single malt scotch is without doubt better than any cheap, coconut sugar drink, even better than the young grape juice that some here quaff down

I rarely visit this thread, but honestly, enough's enough! Toughen up chaps, for god's sake! This ain't no '80's disco

To clarify, for the sanctity of the thread (its sanity is beyond redemption, and said sanctity is teetering...) the Malibu n Milk is a holiday drink, with its summery mate, a G&T: I do take the occasional (well earned) holiday, from reds - generally shiraz but open to the varietal spectrum depending on what sort of head I need to wear next morning - and single malts. I don't mind the peated, either, though not to everyone's taste. Thoughts?

Does anyone else here like white spirits generally but cannot, simply cannot even get whiff of gin without genuinely feeling foul?

I think it is a phenomenon similar to how some people are massively repelled by coriander and simply cannot believe anyone would let it into their digestive system.

Would only drink it if nothing better around.

I hate Rose' also but in the category of "lolly water wine" this one is surprisingly good.

Riverstone Estate...actually all their stuff is up there imo.

Their Shiraz in particular was a real stand out for mine...

STOP POSTING GROSS THOUGHTS AND I’LL STOP YELLING AT YOU!!!

Anyways, unless up-skirting in public restrooms is considered photography then I’d hazard a guess that BBO isn’t into photography.

First of all that's all in the interpretation. Secondly I think you are very close to personal abuse of BBO and way out of line with your comment. I understand you don't like what he says but you keep taking the bait. If you had of questioned him taking photos inside the kaftan you might have got a better response. I will quote Mrs Dw here "I don't get boy humour". You obviously don't either. I use to think your to and fro responses to him were humourous and lighthearted, clearly he now knows how to push your buttons and that has now turned into something else. Put him on ignore and me to if you are unhappy with what I have to post.

Oh boy. I’m currently in an alternate universe. I don’t know what’s real and what isn’t. Moreover, I don’t care. I need sleep. Lots of it. Give Mrs dw my best wishes. 🥰

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die!
