I don't care how many we win, as we win 3 or 4 in September...

Now that may be a little grandiose for 2017 R and B.

A slow build to a decade of continuing domination is what I want.

2017 we make 8th with a little luck then a Prelim in 2018 and the GF in 2019.

Stop your pleading special, I have told you previously, you will not get near my cars until you become rich.

How particularly vulgar and lawyerish of you Red!!

Planning my move up North to where there is sun and more sun. I think all I will be getting is a lot of heat and sun. Unfortunately Mrs Frog will remain down South in the cold.

Not sure if there is a TV service where I am going, so I will need you guys to give my detailed match reports for next season and as many banana recipes as you can. As Mrs Frog alway bursts out in laughter when she talks about the MFC so I need more reliable match reports and she also not a big fan of bananas.

From what I have read so far, it appears the MFC will be turning Essendon for next two or three years. Only things missing is Hird and his totally legal supplements program. 2017 should be interesting, OD how many games will the MFC win?

What are you doing back here Frogger?

Anyway since you are here, I shall give you the advantage of my expertise with women. Mrs Frog remaining "down South" provides you with the perfect opportunity to organise a second Mrs Frog up north. This is just the beginning Frogger, you can start getting rid of your multiple toilets and have multiple Mrs Frogs instead. Think of the tadpole potential!!!

I had underrated you Frogger. The potential of your move north seems both very clever and unlimited.

Perhaps a future visit from Uncle Bitter would be appropriate?

I am familiar with that learned tome and often use it as a precedent authority.

Was anyone else at Subiaco Oval in 2006 to watch the last time the MFC played a finals game?

I have read plenty of posts from them on Demonland.

Just a couple of quick matters before good old uncle "retires" for the night. (The squeeze is all a flutter over an assault with a crochet hook at the local tatting club and will need ...errrr ..... relaxing)

Anyway to other matters

Where is our Lothario? I suspect that dc actually bravely crossed the Westgate after the gf in the hope of taking advantage of excited bluerinsers from Footscray, Yarraville ...etcetc. In fact so successful was this mission that he may sell the million + dollar property in Borewood and buy a block of units in Doggieville. Sons of the West - lock up your mothers.

Now as to another one of dland's shady characters. I understand that Biffen was recently given a jolly good thrashing by our good friend and immoderator docter hopping dick and sent off for a months rehabilitation. Jolly good show I say. Biffen's smut and schoolyard humour has sullied this site for far too long. However, on a positive note, I believe Biffen has already shown some remorse and has promised to open and administer ( free of charge) the Stuie appreciation society.

Anyway duty calls!!!

Anyone else out there like the drink Malibu?  I do and got 2 bottles for $52.00 at local Safeway. Good value me thinks.

Will have a few shots during trade week, as will probably need them.

Now here's a strange craze that Uncle Bitters will be sure to like. What am I saying... he's probably the local ringleader already.

I think their makeup is a tad overdone Moonie but love their intent.

I use the dog to frighten the local children every Halloween . Wonderful spectator sport after  a few reds.

Far be it from me to confirm or deny Mr Biffen's departure given my obligation to abide by moderatorial constraints, but I look forward to the time when he is able to elevate his humour to the level you describe, BBO.

I wouldn't fret too much, uncle, over biffo's (temporary) absence. I understand he already on a flight back from malaysia after his involuntary detention following a misunderstood attempt of multiculturalism. a much chastened biffo i might add, with a lighter wallet.

apparently all his mates were charged with budgie smuggling but biffo got charged with sparrow smuggling

Without Biffo this place has a certain sense of decorum and logic. Too much so, I think.

I miss the insanity.

Due to an odd set of circumstances, I was just listening to SEN. ( As far as I can tell that experience only sucked away a few of my remaining brain cells)

Anyway to my point. I learnt something new - or at least partially learnt something new.

To wit. It seems that during the course of a game of soccer one can be "tunnelled".

I would greatly appreciate an explanation of this hitherto unknown (to me) phenomenon.

PS. This is not a fart joke RL.

I would have expected that you were more protective of your personal and professional reputation Redleg.

I had the mistaken idea that were a person of taste and a certain lets just say "je ne sais quoi."

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.

  • GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons are back on the road again and this may be the last roll of the dice to get their 2025 season back on track as they take on the Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium.

  • PREVIEW: Gold Coast

The Gold Coast Suns find themselves outside of the top eight for the first time since Round 1 with pressure is mounting on the entire organisation. Their coach Damien Hardwick expressed his frustration at his team’s condition last week by making a middle-finger gesture on television that earned him a fine for his troubles. He showed his desperation by claiming that Fox should pick up the tab.  There’s little doubt the Suns have shown improvement in 2025, and their position on the ladder is influenced to some extent by having played fewer games than their rivals for a playoff role at the end of the season, courtesy of the disruption caused by Cyclone Alfred in March.  However, they are following the same trajectory that hindered the club in past years whenever they appeared to be nearing their potential. As a consequence, that Hardwick gesture should be considered as more than a mere behavioral lapse. It’s a distress signal that does not bode well for the Queenslanders. While the Suns are eager to remain in contention with the top eight, Melbourne faces its own crisis, which is similarly deep-seated but in a much different way. After recovering from a disappointing start to the season and nearing a return to respectability among its peer clubs, the Demons have experienced a decline in status, driven by the fact that while their form has been reasonable (see their performance against the ladder leader in the Kings Birthday match), their conversion in front of goal is poor enough to rank last in the competition. Furthermore, their opponents find them exceptionally easy to score against. As a result, they have effectively eliminated themselves from the finals race and are again positioned to finish in the bottom half of the ladder.
