Not sure about that TRAB. The thread is 800 pages long and it's starting to become a little tiresome. Here we are 12 hours after our biggest win in yonks and not a single comment about such a glorious victory? Not even from Mr Leg. It makes me wonder ...

    Haha,last week at the Saints game I had my ipod in my pocket,on it is a recording of 'om chanting' so I put it on during the last quarter which kept me calm while the blood pressure of everyone else around me was peaking so it can be used for winning and losing.

    Just outside the 8 after 7 rounds. Win the Bombers and Roos games and we are near the top of the ladder. We need to find some consistency in performance, for the rest of the year.

But, if I may, can I take this wide-ranging thread off on yet another tangent for a while? I have oftened wondered, Old Dee, how 'Old' you actually are and, by extension, how old the oldest of us are (in stark contrast, by the way, to our youngest-of-them-all team!) So, I'll start: 61. I stand ready to be beaten, and significantly.

    And surprised at the relative youth of OD. Couple of years ago would have sworn OD was at least a Septuagenarian. I think the Dees form has been OD's fountain of youth!

      One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
