I have several worn pairs, the downside (or possibly upside for you BBO) is they each potentially have urine, blood and arabic sand in and on them. If you purchase today I can also throw in some socks, do you have fabric softener?

I always knew you were a decent chap Ethan. Rather than being tawdry and mentioning cash I propose an exchange. I have some wonderfully stained undergarments that may be to your taste and would more than compensate for the loss of the brothel creepers.

Should someone warn BBO Ethan about shonky online traders?

Are you saying that you are unhappy with products you have purchased from our Uncle Bitter?

The original Brothel creepers are still produced by Rossiters.

Most reputable footwear retailers will stock them or be able to source them for you.

At the risk of being embroiled in "questionable business practices"

I have size 5 and 6 in black @ $147.00 and a range of Slatters Ripples in Stone (a light beige) @$99

but would require a fitting at the shop in Beechworth.

If you wanted to expand your wine tasting experiences and retreat to Beechworth would be happy to meet.

We are remote enough from Melbourne that the bitter sting of defeat by Essendon can be diluted.

As long as they would fit a male with waist size of around 34, you have a deal.

After that effort on Saturday, perhaps discussion on under garments and desert boots will put my mind at rest.

I wore desert boots to school back in the time. Comfortable and they were pretty handy kicking the footy after being worn in.

The Desert Boot

Standard issue for any kid in the 1970's

2 Types, one made by Clark's which i prefered or the "Pasties"

everyone had 'em. Very comfortable and hard wearing...

Made in Australia...!

Well I was in these in the early 90s with mullet in tow, unfortunately the mullet came back into fashion for a time but the ripples never did.

Just visited those purveyors of fine apparel, Messrs Harris & Scarfe. They were offering "Hush Puppies" for around $90.00 which they informed me were reduced from $150.00 -FMD!!!  I am out of touch with the world, I need to get off the estate more often.

BTW Ethan, dc has a trophy collection of used underwear that also may interest you.

BTW 2. Any chance of desert boots in the Philippines SWWL? When are you taking off?

BTW 3. Those things that my old mate Stu featured above were generically called "Ripple Soles". I reckon I had a pair once but well before the 90's.

They were big in Adelaide in the 90s (as were and still are the mullet), where I went to school with Simon Goodwin (albeit a couple of years below).

Services rather than products, Mable, but let's not go into too much detail.

After reading on here about his love of 'jolly good floggings', I think that is a very good idea.

bitters, if you are going the full monty i might have a vintage norwellan bluey duffle coat (complete with wooden toggles) somewhere in the attic. be excellent for rounding up those long-necked sheep of yours on a bracing winter's day at romsey manor . an absolute necessity for wearing with desert boots.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
