Biffen, during this 'meeting', did you and Uncle Bitter manage to avoid attracting the attention of the local constabulary?

Just Mabel,

But I have a sneaking suspicion ASIO has been following Bitters for crimes against fashion and human decency.

I picked a good weekend to go away on a tantric retreat, thus avoiding the footy with Bitters and Biff (and by the sounds of it, Maple and maybe even dc). I'm guessing there were many in that area at the G who went home sans wallet. How else would that motley crew afford to eat slop and drink cheap wine at a inner city pub? Shameful, but not unexpected.

Moons I for one want us to celebrate our broad MFC church of followers. While Uncle, Biff, Maple and yourself are off celebrating in their own unique ways, there is my good self hurrying off quickly after the siren on Saturday to attend the Vice Chancellor's dinner at Melbourne University to award to me, my honourary doctorate in Latin American Politics! It is just overdue recognition for my untiring work in opening up Cuba to Obama and the US and the Rolling Stones in concert and  guava paste research and my tireless efforts to access their bananas for export!

As usual I am humbled by the honours thrown my way but it is understandable given my tireless work on behalf of others!

Just got back from a short break on the GC.

Ate at Etsu a great Japanese Restaurant on Monday night.

Last time I was there in summer I sat next to Prestia and Currie and their girlfriends.

This time I saw Gary Ablett and his wife there.

It is obviously a favourite place of some of the GC players.

BTW the food as usual was great.

Given Bitter's critique of his last outing with Biffen, they shouldn't invite you along next time then?

Imagine being at a table eating with Biff and Bitter. It would be like a scene out of Le Grande Bouff.

They have no taste at all Red. For them, eating out would mean dining at that famous Scottish restaurant McDonalds. And they'd sneak in a cheap flaggon of something vaguely similar to wine. Not to mention letching all over the young staff.

As I mentioned earlier ,my grandfather would turn in his grave if he knew I was eating Japanese food.So I will happily join Red at Vue de Monde once he has rogered someone in the court room and is in the mood to shout.

Lucky he didn't know you get about town in a Toyota.

Can't do Vue De Monde, as you know I am scared of heights.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
