Amaretto Di Saronno neat or in anything has health benefits. When I first took my wife to dinner, I brought some to the restaurant ย in an old paper bag. She should have seen the writing on the wall back then. And yet , we've been married all but 32 years. Go figure !!ย

That's what I need in my life. An alcoholic wife or one who puts up with one.

There are some on Demonland, who fail to understand the beauty and tranquility of this thread, let alone the sage advice given and knowedge gained by being a reader of it.ย

To that end, I have decided to appease the masses and throw in a football reference in my posts on here, whenever I remember to.

Also, being the New Year I have vowed to personally improve as a human being and to that end, I am now adding honey to my banana smoothies and I know that MANY PLAYERS IN THE AFL, also enjoy banana smoothies.ย

(Note the footy reference).

Was most concerned there for a moment Red :)

Have no concern, this thread is like a Premiership, it just keeps on giving.

Well even I'm surprised that the first customer for my marriage counselling business would be Jesus!

Pineapples are fine if they're not inserted in the wrong orifice.

DC prefers dried out fruit.

Beyond ripe.

Each to his own.

I like a nice smooth ripe fig.

More than a mouthful is a waste.

Would you be quite a regular golfer Biff? I am but I'm having trouble currently with L.O.F.T. ย It's holding me back.

My vice is white peaches, but there are also figs, apricots, apples, oranges and mandarins in my highly un-Islamic garden.ย

Do I have to bring a wife with me or do you supply one?

I leave the county and the place goes to rack, ruin and ribaldย

very nice r&b

and having a mandarin in your garden would come in handy when you wanted to have a political debate with someone

The Shiek has obviously given butternut pumpkinsย the green light!

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourneโ€™s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last yearโ€™s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although itโ€™s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sundayโ€™s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to foolโ€™s gold.
