Does anyone know when BBO is due to come of rehab?

if you mean suspension, i'm not sure

as for rehab, i'm afraid that is a life long commitment for him. one day off the meds could be curtains

Rehab is ongoing for life. Suspension is over in the new year I believe. I heard a rumour that Stuie is his new bff.

Is the any truth to the rumour that BBO was traded to BomberBiltz ?

That sounds like a lot of work for poor old BBO.

I believe he is opening a refugee centre/exploitation camp for gullible immigrants.

At least BBO has not been wasting his time.

The wheels of commerce are turning again in Romsey.

Bet you he has the local govt involved in his business ventures as well. Nothing like a grant to get the wheels of the economy running again.

Think we might all be a bit happier with our team this year.

Happy new year to all .

In the spirit of renewal I believe our resident degenerate from Romsey is due to regale us with his misdeeds soon.Does anyone know his whereabouts or the terms of his ostracism.I would have thought his month in Coventry had passed by now?

Well well Biff - I have been renewed.   A new man, an upright citizen ready to selflessly contribute to the greater good of society. My first New Year's Reso is to shed some kilograms. However, due to some previous misunderstandings, I am persona non grata  at all nearby gymnasia. So I have dusted off the treadly and purchased some new spandex. I have already attracted some envious glances around the village. I do cut a rather dashing figure if I do say so myself.

I have also decided to look for a new vocation in life. During my recent treatments, I met some quite delightful psychoanalysts, psychologists in general and a myriad of counsellors. So Uncle Bitter is planning to reinvent himself as a relationship or marriage counsellor. I have had quite a bit to do with other peoples' marriages over the years so I am quite confident that I can make an impact.

Doing good is my new motto!

Most marriages end in divorce.

I see this latest entrepreneurial venture from Romsey may have commercial potential.

Particularly if you are both cause and solution to mist of the issues at hand.I wish you every success

I can forward a copy of the Ashley Madison  mailing list to help with connecting you to the right market.

Thank you for your support and understanding Biffen!! When it all comes down to it, I need to make a dollar while supporting those in need. While you, with a string of failed relationships behind you are beyond my help, I'm there are some on Demonland who would benefit from my wisdom in marital matters.

Btw, I am already a platinum member that worthy organisation you alluded to.

There are some on Demonland, who fail to understand the beauty and tranquility of this thread, let alone the sage advice given and knowedge gained by being a reader of it.

To that end, I have decided to appease the masses and throw in a football reference in my posts on here, whenever I remember to.

Also, being the New Year I have vowed to personally improve as a human being and to that end, I am now adding honey to my banana smoothies and I know that MANY PLAYERS IN THE AFL, also enjoy banana smoothies.

(Note the footy reference).

Great to hear from you in 2016 DF.

The extra good news is we are liable to stay that way for some weeks yet.

Arh the smell of success!

Amaretto Di Saronno neat or in anything has health benefits. When I first took my wife to dinner, I brought some to the restaurant  in an old paper bag. She should have seen the writing on the wall back then. And yet , we've been married all but 32 years. Go figure !!

  • WHAT’S NEXT? by The Oracle

What’s next for a beleagured Melbourne Football Club down in form and confidence, facing  intense criticism and disapproval over some underwhelming recent performances and in the midst of a four game losing streak? Why, it’s Adelaide which boasts the best percentage in the AFL and has won six of its last seven games. The Crows are hot and not only that, the game is at the Adelaide Oval; yet another away fixture and the third in a row at a venue outside of Victoria. One of the problems the Demons have these days is that they rarely have the luxury of true home ground advantage, something they have enjoyed just once since mid April.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
