This win will kick start my season, the Jackattacks list has quality across the board, and the question marks over the whether or not the coach has 'lost' the players have been blown out of the water with a confident display last week, and another on the way.

Expect D.Martin to step up this week against his old club.

Helped by the inability of scarlett to fix his team up right and the failure to actually play 11 players.... :)

You'll get a different perspective this week JA.

PS. 45 - good win. just. may have been different had I known in advance Jacobs was starting. That or a free kick...or had Selwood missed. :P

That was kind of Scarlett, but the Jackattacks will prove themselves this week and the top end of the ladder will start looking over their shoulders.

Daniel Motlops arrogant grin every time he was near the ball cost PA the game against the Gold Coast Suns.

Little Daniel snagged 4 today but we all know he is a 1st class choker & wont be there when it matters against real

opposition.

I wonder what Dappa Dan thinks of your assination of his Ruckman Mr McEvoy.

Dress it up anyway you want you don't get 36 hit outs in the AFL accidently.

Let me know if your interested in trading this week Big Guy?

Congrats on getting over the line this week.

The last 3 weeks in a row I've gone into the final game with a lead and lost. Mackie 4 FA and Corey goaling whilst Sheils missing killed me. God UF can get you angry

I thought I had no chance DL7. Coreys first goal in 60 odd games was just what the doctor ordered. Good game!

...or if the other 10 of my players didn't play?

Bit silly to say if Selwood didn't play - he did and starred - especially considering inhad 3 or my of my best out.

Congrats on getting over the line this week.

Thanks JCB - You gave me all the motivation I needed

& Matty Scarlett helped with his wild elbow that nearly removed Jordan Lewis's head clean off his shoulders.

That was the Free Kick that won me the game.

Congrats to all winning Coaches over the easter Round

Back in the Top 8 now & planning to hang around.

Now who's up for some Trade Action?

I meant if he missed his goal, not the game itself. It would have dropped the %; essentially handing me that category and a 5-4 lead.

I missed a few players too due to the bye. But I guess we're all in the same boat in that regard.

Voted against too...

You can't allow someone who has lost interest in the game to give players up in easy trades just cos they don't care anymore. Robbo and SnomeD, feel free to rebut... Make your case.

Haha - yeah lost interest at the top of the ladder :)

To be honest I was overseas at the time (a last minute decision) and have only just gotten back to reality as of yesterday - couldn't remember my password for this site and to be honest, while on holidays other than quickly checking my team in UF, DT and SC I had better things to do than sit on forums discussing Ultimate Footy :). I did take the time to watch the scores as the dees came back against Brisbane though :)

In any event you probably all did me a favour - got Sylvia for him in the end :) Now that Hille's back I'm even happier to have gotten rid of Ryder. Am hoping that Hawkins can improve throughout the year (still have nightmares about his first game against Melbourne) as the backup ruckman to Graham who's doing better than I expected.

Actually that was the day before I left :) I did bring the ipad with me so I could check my my team and make sure that I could field a team!

You were overseas before the vetoed trade, or had traded Sylvia for Ryder before going overseas ? I'm confused.

Ok - I traded the day before I left (30th March, 7:41pm), I was in a plane at 8am the next morning (but hadn't checked anything online since the trade) then it got vetoed (31st at 4:28pm - I was actually in an airplane during the discussion and vetoing - so not much I could do in any case :)).

Was back for a few days last week then went camping over Easter so have managed to put a trade through.

Dal Santo for O'Keefe and Darling?

Whoa.

Edit: What the fuuuuuuuck, just checked the live scores this week to see five players not playing this week because of the bye when I clearly remember swapping them out. And pressing the 'Save Changes' button.

This sucks.

Glad you got the desire you needed- payback time for me this week.Getting belted and don't have a ruckman-Jolly out injured,Ottens a bye. That's life- another week goes by.

I wish you had stayed overseas as you are giving me a belting. But you have a good liist there and coaching well. If Jolly had of played- I would have beaten you IMO.However congrats.

I was desperate for a better forward set up and OMR wanted a bluechip mid. I think we're both happy with this result.

At least I've got Darling in my UF, DT and SC sides. Consolation for not having him the Dees!

Summed it up well RR

You have to give a little in this contest to make some gains.

Both parties very satisfied with this exchange.

Good Luck today UF Coaches, some tight contests still to play out this round.

lol - I wish I was still overseas too :)

Yeah - Jolly could be the difference - your goal kickers went nuts this week!

Could come down to the wire - I think you'll win this on kicks - 14 behind - Johnson averages 14 and grant 7 - hopefully they kick 0.6 between them and give away 12 free kicks :)

Failed to fulfill the promise of his breakout six goal effort against the Tigers in 2023 and was generally disappointing as a key forward. It remains to be seen whether Simon Goodwin will persevere with him in attack or return him to the backline where he was an important cog in the club’s 2021 premiership success. Sadly, had to wrap up a great career in midstream on the back of multiple concussions which culminated in the Maynard hit in the 2023 Qualifying Final. SLIP SLIDING AWAY by Meggs

It was a sweaty, slippery night at Cazalys Stadium, a tough slog with low scoring and missed opportunities.  The Hokball Hawks hung on to win by a goal and sit second on the ladder, relegating the disappointed Demons to, almost certainly, finals spectators.   We had to win this match. When news broke of late withdrawals of talisman Kate Hore and key back Gaby Colvin, expectations plummeted, and Demon fans despaired.  The bad news was the signature song of 2024, a season that’s
