Yeah and I know they lost them, but its the best they have looked in a long time.

New coach has said they are starting Winston not Wilson this week... Who knows how this will go ha ha

I wholeheartedly agree, in a developing team it counts for a lot more than getting trounced each week. The offense was doing enough I reckon.

I would like to see them manage Dart a bit better going forward. The guy is aggressive by nature but they don't want to RG3 the kid.

Russell just can't get a gig anymore..

Wilson is cooked. he looked terrible early this year.

He sure did, Some of throws looked like panic throws. I reckon Steelers need to trade or draft a QB, I wouldnt run with him next season.

Bills looked so awful, tbh I don't think the dolphins were amazing, Tua still turned it over a few times but the run game sliced the Bills and they missed tackles and I honestly think that was Allens worst game ever.

I had the Bills as my SB favourites this year. I felt it was finally lining up.

That was a horrible performance, you're allowed one of those in a season but all eyes will be on their response now, especially in an even competition like this one. He's got runs on the board but if younger guys ie. Daniels, Purdy, Stroud, Young put up a performance like that? Well, coaches don't forget those.

I too had Buff as a SB fav, but what I've seen this year I don't think they are in great form, there has been a few games where they have struggled if Cook can't effectively run the ball.

Next few weeks will be interesting for them.

It's such a fall, he really is a joke now.

For 5'11 he had one of the best deep balls around. Now he's the punch drunk boxer who thinks he's still got it. Yes he shredded the 'boys but their D is garbage.

His one day contract in Seattle is coming sooner rather than later I think.

I think this is correct. I think there are better back ups out there for next year.

They also seem to have a lost a lot of rhythm in the passing game since some of their receivers went down.

I guess it's better to have these problems in November but you'd want to see improvement quite sharpish.

There's some huge match-ups this week with a lot riding on the results of those matches

Headline acts ...

  • Tampa @ Buffalo

  • Seattle @ Rams

  • Chiefs @ Denver

  • Lions @ Eagles

  • Chargers @ Jags

And then there's vital games for Chicago, the Packers, Steelers, 49ers, Ravens and the Pats

On paper at least, the best week of games we've seen this season

Agree, there is some great games this weekend.

I’m already super nervous about the Rams game.

Hawks-Rams will be a belter. Might actually watch it in full.

I had to shift my RDO from Monday to Wednesday to get the car serviced.
So I'll have it on at work, not sure if thats better as I wont be 100% focused on it and hating life if we are playing badly 😁😂

Chargers, 49ers, Chiefs

Ravens, 49ers, Texans

Packers

Ravens

Chiefs

It never works for me, I have to delay watching till at least lunchtime.

So I've finally been able to relax some...

Rams D was the difference, Seattles D was very good too, but 4 picks by our D was huge!

Our Offence started on fire with 2 td in the first qtr, then I think McVay called a very poor game, Williams was running the ball well but he kept going to Corrum at one point then went away from the outside run late which was where we had good runs.
Time of possession was 37.49 to 22.11 which is crazy, 26-12 first downs for 79-50 total plays and shows how poor our offence was.

But at the end of the day we got the win and McVay has some tape to watch to see how we can get better cs we play in seattle in a few weeks.

  • NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round

Finally the 2026 AFL Premiership Season is upon us. While Melbourne sits out Opening Round, there is still plenty of footy to enjoy with five non-MFC clashes to kick off the new season. It all begins on Thursday night with a blockbuster at the SCG as Sydney hosts Carlton in what should be a strong early test for both sides. On Friday night, Gold Coast gets its chance to open the season in front of a home crowd when the Suns and Christian Petracca take on Geelong at People First Stadium. Saturday features a double-header, starting in the afternoon with Greater Western Sydney and Clayton Oliver meeting the Hawks at Engie Stadium. That is followed on Saturday night by Brisbane Lions hosting the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba, with the Lions embarking on their campaign to win the Threepeat. Opening Round wraps up on Sunday night at the MCG, where St Kilda takes on Collingwood in the only game in town in the first week of the season. There is no shortage of storylines across the round, so discuss all the action from the non-MFC games of Opening Round.

  • PREGAME: St. Kilda

With just over two weeks until their opening match of the 2026 AFL Premiership season, the Demons are already well on the path to redemption and have the Saints firmly in their sights ahead of their mid-March clash at the MCG. What do you think the team will look like when they run out on to the G?

Mars is not usually a place known for lighting strikes but on Friday evening it happened twice in the vicinity of the stadium in Ballarat that carries the name and is a half completed building site with limited capacity for spectators.
