Currently I don't have much time watch games other than my team but I did watch the youtube highlights of this one.

These ones hurt. Obviously there's two ways to look at this one but I think with where the Rams are currently at profile wise they need to take the positive out of it. The Eagles look inevitable at the moment but in that first half it really looked like LA controlled the line of scrimmage. Teams are built inside to out and I thought that was encouraging as Philly still have a menacing defensive front.

Like us you seem to be struggling in the secondary and losing old mate Witherspoon last week did not help.

It's what you do next after these games that counts and a bounceback win this week should setup a nice SoCal-NorCal grudge match the following Friday 😊

Witherspoon out was and is huge, Dotson going down and Fiske running at about 70%

Our secondary isn't to bad, but we are quite small and slight so the big receivers get us.

Colts this week will be very interesting and then yeah the week after...

Bosa is a massive loss and you hate to see ACL's, did the Niners walk under ladders kicking black cats mate?

It's crazy how guys like that excel at other teams, I didn't rate Akhello at all with us!

As for Bosa, devastating. Almost 5 years to the day when he did it in New York.

We might be 3-0 but that's a very tough one to overcome and I can't help but think it's down from here. Weight of numbers usually wins the day in the injury stakes. I'm just counting down the days for a CMC over-use injury. Ahhhh.

The slippery slope has come early this season. Bosa might be the straw that breaks our camel's back

Anyway........

Chargers

Eagles

Vikings

Yeah they are piling up and they is always a breaking point. How has the carry load been for CMC the last two games?

I think it is Biff. Yes we've re-built the D-line and interior but Bosa leaves a hole that you just can't fill.

Gorg not too bad at 17 carries but we threw a lot more screens so he had 10 catches as well. Bit less the week before, the bonus is that we're trusting Mac Jones with the ball and it's actually paying off! Plenty of play action and over the middle stuff.

Public holiday Friday so get the chance to watch the Thursday night game

And either Seattle or Arizona get the chance to go to a 3 & 1 record. Should be a good match (at Arizona)

Need to keep winning in that division (NFC West) ... currently 9 & 3 overall

*Colts @ Rams, *Jags @ 49ers

how are the Packers +5.5 against the cowboys? No way cowboys should be favourites

Chargers

Eagles

Packers

I put a note above the game sheet

They got the lines the wrong way around (typo)

Seattle well on top and the Arizona crowd have booed their team off at half-time!

Seattle 14 Arizona 3

  • AFLW REPORT: Gold Coast

The forecast said wind. The ladder said mismatch. The scoreboard said obliteration. Melbourne didn’t just beat Gold Coast — they dismantled them: 13.15 (93) to 0.6 (6). An 87-point obliteration, the Suns held goalless, and the Demons delivering their second-highest winning margin and third-highest score in AFLW history.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #28 Will Verrall

It was a tough ask for him to break through as a 199cm ruckman in the shadow of an all-time great in that position who is also the club captain. He had some good days at Casey but was unable to progress and was delisted at the end of the season.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #29 Tom Campbell

The 33-year-old Campbell has yet to play AFL football for Melbourne, but his Casey form has been strong and he has been retained as a ready-made ruck depth option who is widely regarded as someone who is excellent for the culture of the club.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #30 Harry Sharp

The Demons acquired an interesting player in Sharp, who narrowly missed securing a spot in the Lions’ premiership team last year. The 22-year-old medium forward played in the opening round this season and ended up with 18 senior games, although he was substituted in or out in for ten of those matches. He demonstrated glimpses of form, but ultimately ended the year on the margins of the team.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #31 Bayley Fritsch

Worked his way back after a slow start and a further slump in form going into the midseason but became a solid contributor for the club in the latter half of 2025. Closing in on 300 goals for the club.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Gold Coast

On Friday, the Demons return to our Casey Fields fortress where they have a 77% win rate. The scent of September is in the air and the struggling Suns are on the horizon. The Cranbourne weather forecast? Ominous, like the match itself: a strong chance of carnage. Let’s be honest, last week’s first half against the West Coast was a training drill but we dropped our guard in the final quarter. While this match is a mismatch on paper — second versus seventeenth — football is won in the wind, the contests, and the moments.
