I’m a Bears fan Werridee, so for me it’s a no brainer tipping them, may the best team win. It should be a beauty.

Not sold on who wins Eagles v Bears yet but mark my words, I can’t see the bears putting up 27 points, they will want to keep the game tight and let their D strangle the life out of the eagles.

Texans 24 - Colts 20

Seattle 17 - Cowboys 10

Chargers 27 - Ravens 13

Bears 22 - Eagles 21

@Macca I think I did get the record last season. Somewhere around 16 points? EDIT: found it on Page 219 - 15 points.

Well done @DeeSpencer. I was a Browns FG away from winning $800 in another comp, but did get $400 for finishing second.

I like the value in 3 of the 4 games this week.. Multi up

Texans $1.85

Seattle $2.05

Chargers $2.30 (huge value, Yeah the ravens got them in LA 2 weeks back but chargers were due & have been more consistent then the Ravens this year also 7-1 on the road this year, don't see Lamar Jackson winning a playoff game)

Indianapolis 30 @ Houston 28
Seattle 31 @ Dallas 34
Chargers 30 @ Baltimore 21
Philadelphia 20 @ Chicago 13

Curious, has anyone tipped the winners and margin brackets correctly previously in the playoff tipping comp here?

Don’t mind chasing some long odds over the wild card weekend and hopefully one of you is spot on.

For Texans 1-6, Seahawks 7-12 and Chargers 13+ as per JV7’s tips you can get $116 for your buck.

Not sure anyone has got close with all 4 (including the margins) as in previous years the best result for any of the first 2 weeks has generally been 3 from 4 DZ.  Also,  in this year's 1st week the lines seem awfully close as compared to other years.

I honestly reckon all 4 games are 'Pick 'em' affairs so I just went for the home teams ... but at least 1 of the road teams will probably win.  That's been the trend for years now.

The Chargers bring the best overall form from the wild-card teams but Seattle,  Eagles & the Colts are all very capable.  The 4 road teams winning is paying 33-1 with Philadelphia the biggest outsider at 9-4.

Indianapolis 28 @ Houston 24

Seattle 24 @ Dallas 17

Chargers 27 @ Baltimore 21

aaaaaaaaaaaannnnd......

Philadelphia 17 @ Chicago 24

would be equally unsurprised if I got 4 or zip

The post-season tipping comp is a goer so a shout out to @Dr. Gonzo  @DeeSpencer  @layzie  @DemonDave  & @Dappa Dan  if you're keen to play.  If participating,  don't forget the scorelines (needed mainly for the SB)

Here are the 4 games and the respective lines - all times AEDT

Sunday 8.35am  Indianapolis @ Houston (-2.5)
Sunday 12.15pm  Seattle @ Dallas (-2.5)

Monday 5.00am  Chargers @ Baltimore (-2.5)
Monday 8.40am  Philadelphia @ Chicago (-5.5)

Off side Texans twice in first 8 mins both on 3rd down, both resulted in 1st downs on the play after.

Hilton on fire early.

Horrendous start by the Texans

Agree, Luck, Mack, Hilton are all on song early. Colts D is playing very well and Watson threw an awful pick on 4th and 4

Yep looks like it, not sure why the Texans would throw on 4th & 1 there.

Yeah I walked outside and started to finish my fence, was more fun doing that than watching the Texans.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
