Yeah ... stumbled across them by accident when googling for weekly previews.  Not overly long too which is good - short & sharp for a quick overview.

Your game is the pick of the bunch ... Vikes will be desperate for a win and the Eagles can't afford to drop another one.  2 good teams going at each other.  7.25am start.  Rams @ Seattle on at the same time followed by Dallas @ Houston (SNF)  That's some good NFL fare.

Yeah agree. One of those ones where whoever loses will get pilloried in the media. Stressful for fans of both teams though.

Bloody Seahawks knocking out cooks and Kupp. Good job by the O to still get the job done, shields hurt his shoulder too.

Worried about these injuries with the run we now have coming up, being 5-0 is huge and all credit to my boys.

Did anyone see the Bills player tackle Mariotta in an upright tackle then let him go and mariotta ran  away and threw to the end zone... crazy!

Yeah saw that ... it looked like he gave up on the play.  The new ruling has got some of the defensive players 2nd guessing themselves.

The Eagles/Vikings & Rams/Seahawks games lived up to their billing.  Managed to watch both on redzone and they covered both games well.  Lots of close matches again and we continue to see games going to overtime.  SNF was good too although I'm not sure that either team are going to feature at the pointy end of the season.

Power went out at our place so I only got to watch up to half way through the last of the early games, so missed the eagles/vikes, Rams/Seahawks. Watched highlights on B/R.

Packers got off to a bad start, 4 missed FGS but the alarming thing for me from what I saw was the complete lack of blocking at times by the oline. It was like they wanted Rodgers under pressure.

Chiefs took it to the jags and slapped them, Mahoney didn’t throw a TD iirc but they got the job done.

Looking forward to todays game.

I don't have any expectations with the Packers as I don't rate the team as being any better than a 7 or 8 win team this season.  Anything above that will be a bonus.  And we have a horror stretch of games coming up from week 8 onwards.   I am a realist.

I am way more interested in watching the league as a whole.

Really struggled to watch many games at all this week it's been a rough week due to some other circumstances.

Watched the highlights of Eagles @ Rams. Interesting game. Still hard to get a read on the Vikings though their offense can go through sluggish phases but it was still a great win.

As for the Niners it's fairly simple, playing hard and with heart but missing key personnel, the line is weak and we turn the ball over at crucial times. Beathard has already had two fumbles from his throwing motion.

At least the Cowboys lost!

Might be a bit easier to find 3 road winners this week ... only 1 point on offer this week although as we're all finding out,  any points are ultra-valuable!

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
