I believe it's live on FOX @ 2pm

I believe it's live on FOX @ 2pm

It's on at 3pm on 10.

Gives you an hour extra to prepare yourself to listen to Kelli Underwood in her unbiased Geelong calls

I personally will have the No-Doz ready so that I dont fall into a coma. She is just lifeless.

THank god I'll be at the game - I'd hate to have to listen to Kelli butcher another match

OOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH FAAAAAAAARK !!! Thats it !!!! I will not be able to watch the replay if that women is calling the game.

Does anyone know if it is on the Main Event channel on Foxtel for interstate viewers?

I think a remote control needs to be invented where you can push a button and have Kellie Underwood's voice changed to a token voice, that of Steven Hawking perhaps or maybe anyone else in the entire world except Kellie Underwood?

FFS. Kelli Underwood again.

Apparently she didn't do the North Melbourne-Western Bulldogs game last Saturday. Yet she did North vs us and now she's doing Geelong-Melbourne. I get the feeling they're 'testing' her out in low key matches. Just our bloody luck.

And she's an unbelievably biased caller. Last year in the corresponding fixture showed that.

On the back of this news I don't think I've ever been happier to be going to a game at Skilled. With any luck 3AW (match-call) & MMM (pre-game) are covering the game too for radio enjoyment.

Does anyone know if it is on the Main Event channel on Foxtel for interstate viewers?

It's on live on Ten in Sydney. Also, bizarrely enough, in regional Qld.

But FFS. Underwood? I'd be surprised if ANY of our players got the ball according to her commentary.

Have you people been living in Melbourne for the past 8 or so years or what?

Saturday afternoon games on 10 have ALWAYS been a delayed telecast at 3:30pm. I seriously can't believe any of you are acting surprised...

Have a look here

Just select which region you are in

Ok, 10 it is then... thanks (and thanks to you too Dr Mubutu)

Since when is footy live?

theres a difference between showing a mcg game on delay and one from SS. it is much much much harder to get a ticket to SS. also i live in gippsland. its one thing to get to the g but geelong and back is nuts. bastards

I remember her last call in the Geelong/Melboune game it was almost as bad as this.

Kelly Underwood: Oh! Garry Ablet has the ball, hes such a super star.

Look his handballed it. yes he did, and its gone straight to that gorgeous hank of manhood Tom Harley. Now Harley has kicked it long into the forward line and Cam is going up for the mark.. Oh damn that lousy lousy Melbourne player just spoiled the mark, you know? whats his name.

Anyway looks like Geelongs won, which went without saying.

Come on everyone lets join in the chorus, We are Geelong ....

Stephen-quartermain: Excuse me Kelly you cant do that

Kelli Underwood: What you mean I cant sing the cats theme song ???

Stephen-quartermain: No its not the done thing it shows a certain amount of bias

Kelli Underwood: Who me?? Bias!!

I know every Geelong players name I just dont know the Melbourne players names but that doesnt mean Im biased

it just means I dont know their names.

(Batts Eyes at TV Camera ), You wont hold that against me, will you??

Grrr wheres a Hammer when you need it.

Seems we are not the only ones with the same opinion on her!!

Yes, but it's in Geelong so what's the point in delaying it?

Surely even Kellie Underwood can't be any worse than the pre-season match against the Crows this year. Remember when it was 'some other team' v Kurt Tippet.

But Quartermain is a [censored] too. Think i'll just use radio anyway.

Kellie Underwood isn't the best commentator out there, but she's not as bad as people suggest.

I think a lot of people are put off by the fact that she's female and they're not used to it.

It makes her stick out a little more than the other commentators and any bad calls are emphasised to a greater extent.

In a positive light, at least we're on free to air TV this week. It's been a while since those without foxtel have been able to see a game if we can't make it to the 'G

We should be happy with some free to air coverage

stop whinging!

out of bounds on the full, the umpire is throwing it in

passes to McDonald, no Bate, no it's Bartram

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
