One win is great, but we need to continue to improve. We have a big month of footy that can really show case our future and show how far we have come in 12 months.

Over the next 6 weeks we play Richmond, Brisbane, North Melb, Bulldogs, West Coast, Port Adelaide(Darwin). It is a great mix of 4 teams that shouldn't make the 8 and imo should be bottom 4 and 2 teams that will be looking for a top 4 spot.

The next 6 weeks is very exciting, hopefully we can continue to improve and win the games we should win.

I wouldn't lump Port Adelaide with the likes of Richmond, North and the Eagles, but that combination of easier and harder opponents is going to really show where our team is at.

Hell, I think we're a pretty good chance to be 5 and 5.

Works well for us, alternating between good teams and "beatables" each week.

It'll mean the kids get continual timely reminders of what is expected from a top team.

If we played too many teams at our level in a row we'd get a rude shock when we finally played a contender.

Also works well keeping the confidence high, cos too many shellackings in a row would hurt.

Agree, the boys took on the doggies last year and nearly come up trumps. Good chance this year. But I would not put money on it, still a longe way to go this season. Good to see everyone excited either way.

If you'd have told me we were going to be 2-2 with a one point loss by round 4 I'd have taken it. Likewise if you told me we were going to be 5-5 I'd have taken that too.
