You'd have to have a look at Stokes, talented forward and is still only 24ish I think.

Also as much of a gump as he may be, Blake would be our best ruckman and is still only 24ish as well.

That being said, maybe just hope someone makes it to the PSD.

I am no wrap for Jamar but he is much better player than Blake.

Blake is terrible & I am yet to meet a Geelong supporter who thinks otherwise.

If we were to go for any of their rucks I'd have my eye on Mumford.

I rate Gamble, I doubt we are in the market for another inbetween sized forward though.

Stokes will stay.

If Simon Hogan was available I'd be keen.

Jamar's a better ruckman than Blake. He'd be comfortably second though, sadly. I don't rate the guy.

No interest at all in the others. Especially not David Johnson, they're kidding right? I laughed out loud when I saw that.

Its been said that the cats have to trade to stay under cap

Nah, no interest for us I would have thought.

And theyre kidding themselves if they think theyll get anything worthwhile for Tenace.

Yeah. But when was that? At the end of 2007 I think.

He's played just 6 games since.

He'll probably land somewhere. But Geelong wont get much if anything for him.

was last year wasnt it but they took Prismall instead

D Johnson wont get anything, been there 7 years hasnt even played a finals match and is very injury prone

Even if Geelong were prepared to trade Blake I wouldn't want to go near him simply because he seems like an absolute $hit bloke. Carried on like the biggest sook when he was dropped from 07 GF, then held the club to ransom over Steven King. Contrast that with the class that Wojo and now Stokes have shown in the same scenario (except that both of them are actually worthy of playing in a premiership) and add in the complete lack of class Blake has shown in saying it was nice to stick it up Kings arse on Saturday, and I wouldn;t want this nob anywhere near MFC.

Good to know even the best teams have rejects!

But where does that leave Miller, Newts and Co?

Local footy?

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs West Coast

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well
