Ok I salivate everytime i watch this guy play. He has an amazing ability one on one, has speed and is probably the best shot at goal in the comp. Anyone know where he's from and if there was anyone or any people who we are prepared to trade for him. And don't post here about his shoulder because hes kicked 50 odd goals this year so its not a problem.

My thoughts would be maybe bell+rivers (Jamar) or Jamar + 2nd round pick.

I love Rivers but with old garlo coming back <_< (he's keen) im not sure there will be a place for him as a key defender as he was caught out badly one on one. I think he plays his best footy as third man up and using his ability to read the play.

If Adelaide had a brain explosion and were thinking about it maybe i think we should take it.

So ... thought people haha

I know im dreaming but i just want to think about it for a while and wonder if by any means he could slip to us haha. Id be happy with one player from another club who is half decent so we dont have such a big gap between our good young players and out duds. We have so many good young players but no decent mid age players. Then we have veterans so imo to be strong we need at least one decent mid age player.

With Robbo gone! Our forward line is very inexperienced. Play Brad Green out of the goal square. He is a good leading forward and accurate kick. It will prolong his career and give us more value up there.

HA!

Impossible. This is one of the better Jamar/Bell/pick 2 trade scenarios going round.

I proposed the Dangerfield trade in another thread, and many think pick 2 won't get us him. If pick 2 doesn't get us Dangerfield, pick 1 won't get Porplyzia. Even for Scully.

I have noticed a lot of people putting packages together for trade and am of the opinion that other clubs are like us in that they don't want to be cluttering up their list with "stocking fillers" If we want to trade for a player, we will more than likely have to trade one highly rated player -e.g. A Rivers or a Grimes rather than a couple of mediocre players. I am not advocating this by the way but it is useful to walk a mile in the other clubs shoes. I.E. would we give up 2 spots on our list for The Russian and Belly - I think not.. :)

if someone wants to do a deal then it will happen. i don't think it would take two melb players.

melbourne traded Brent Girgic to cats with pick 17...melbourne got clint bizzell and pick 50 odd. maybe we got miller wit that pick...cats went on to pickup james kelly with pick 17.

if i was Tim Harrington i would be pretty happy with pick 1,2,18....(and watever else) stick with those picks unless someone presents something crazy.

    DERAILMENT by KC from Casey

It wasn’t quite a trainwreck although at times, it sure looked like one, so I’ll settle for “derailment”.  The trip to Brighton Homes Arena in Springfield outside the back of Brisbane might not exactly be the same place where Homer Simpson’s family resides but, if you listened closely to the utterances of the Casey Demons fans both at the ground or watching via livestream, you could hear lots of groaning and plenty of expressions of “D'oh!” reverberating in the background, particular

TEN YEARS AFTER by Whispering Jack

Things have changed in the more than ten years since the West Coast Eagles decimated Melbourne by 93 points on the MCG early in the 2014 season. The two sides had not met at the home of football in the interim until yesterday when Melbourne won by a comfortable 54 points to remain in contention for this year’s finals series. Back in those days, the Demons were in the midst of their Great Depression but they have since tasted premiership glory and experienced a long enough period among

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs West Coast

It’s game day and the Demons return to Melbourne to play the Eagles at the MCG for the first time in over a decade. A win keeps the Dees finals hopes alive whereas a loss will almost certainly slam the finals window shut.

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well
