For the information of all Melbourne supporters and the 11,814 Melbourne supporters registered with a Supercoach Team - in the 'club supported rankings' the Melbourne Supporters finished 1st. So well do to all of us - we'll take that 'premiership'.

Wouldn't expect anything less as we all know that Melbourne supporters have the greatest football brains.

Not mine. For the 3rd year in a row I used up my trades too soon and just limped into the finals. Still haven't learnt my lesson.

But the same happened with Dream Team, Melbourne supporters with the highest scores, we really are the greatest.

I'm not sure about SC but a Melbourne supporter known at BigFooty (and formerly here) as 'Ausyid' had his 'The Gold Standard' team come at a vey respectable 16th in DT to come first for the Dees

What's amazing about this is that most fans know their own players better than the other 15 clubs, and pick accordingly. We were one f the worst DT sides in the comp, with the worst injury list, and our people STILL got number 1.

Put us all in the footy department I say.

After week 1 of the Dreamteam Finals comp, Melbourne supporters are again on top with an avergae of 1848, 10 ahead of the Dorks and Toiges supporters.

    Demonlander The Analyser was the sole Trackwatcher out at Casey Fields today to bring you the following observations from this mornings preseason training session. Training  was at Casey today. It consisted of a match simulation for one half  and then a free choice activity time.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

    Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
