What about Jack Fitzpatrick for Ruck? 201 cm and looks very quick and mobile. His kick is a bit shakey but not to bad.

Tapscott looks big and ready to play afl. Solid mark and kick. The others didn't show anything special.

Very interesting footage. It looks like Scully as a machine when it comes to winning the contested ball and getting a quick handpass out. Is his kicking a little dodgy or was it just a bad day?

Trengove looks to be a significantly better kick and finds teammates better, once again judging only by hte footage shown. He didn't seem to be as good at winning the ball.

Both would be very welcome in our midfield though. :)

His kicking is good on either side, but it's his clearance work and hands that set him apart. His hands are phenomenal and he just keeps getting to contest after contest. He also has excellent pace. He'll be a star.

Got the lot. But I love it when you see a side of a player... or perhaps a quirk or gift... that is present from the first minutes you see him through to when he retires...

Sylvia loves a tackle (Just today I saw the Freo game, and at one point he was trying to tackle a Docker but had a demon in between himself and his prey. So he tackled both. Brought both to ground and was so effective that the ball went dead!).

Robbo loves a hanger.

Davey loves to sell a bit of candy.

When it comes to Scully, he does a lot well, but his hands coupled with his brain are exquisite. Could be even better than Black. He drills them 30 metres to space a player will run onto... He causes them to run onto the ball, not the other way around. He brings players into the game and creates plays that turn into inside fifties SO often and so perfectly... Nobody on our list does this. I'd go so far as to say he looks more complete than Watts.

Trengove seems better balanced with poise.. Scully has a bit of "hard nut "about him. Think they might complement each other quite nicely whilst adding to what we already have. Jack needs a bit less of the up and under passing technique. Scully very..VERY quick of hand.

What a shame to have to pick between...wait... WE DONT !!!!!! :D :D

exactly what i was thinking! these two will work perfectly with each other! plus with blease coming in next year i think we will go from one of the worst to potentially one of the best/quickest midfields going around!!

LOL @ Butcher kicking on the left boot.

Not 1 single contested mark in that video. He got 1 goal from a free kick and 1 cheap goal when WA didn't even bother to man up. He looked weak in the contest and was pushed over easily. Would be such a waste of pick 2.

More vision on Tom from last year. imo looks better here!

Why do we want old stuff? We want to see how he looks now, not back then

Player ---- Mt D DE% M CP UP C TKL G B

R.Ah Chee 5 - 26.4 - 66.7 - 6.6 - 9.6 - 17.2- 3.4 - 3.8- 1.0- 0.6

T.Scully 5 - 25.2 - 76.2 - 3.4 - 9.4 - 15.8- 5.2 - 3.2 - 0.6 - 0.4

This bloke Goes alright up against tom. This is from the carnival. Ah Chee averaged the most disposals followed by Tom. Looks like he will float out to around pick 20+

Can't see what some have said about Scully's disposal being no good. Almost every kick is to his team's advantage, even if the KPF lacks the yard of pace to get to the ball on the full, or the team-mate gets hands to ball but drops it. He just seems to always know the right side of the contest to kick it to.

I also like his clean one-touch handling (same with Trengove) and his ability to swoop on the ball in traffic and get it well clear to his team's advantage (again same with Trengove). They're both consistently clean & decisive. Trengove seems to have great balance - if he's off-balance when he gets it (e.g. unexpected sideways bounce) he's back in perfect balance the very next stride.

I'd be OK with Carlisle.

More importantly its realistic to expect that he will still be left on the board when we're up for round 2.

Has a reasonable scope to develop aswell, much like a Stef Martin

imo the best possible out come would be.

Scully

trengove

talia.

Well yeah, but that's hardly likely.

Its like saying you'd be happpy with Scully, Trengove and Morabito.

Then again, saying you'd be happy with Scully and Trengove 6 months ago would've sounded absurd.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
