Its clear that West Coast is tanking.

Pavlich left to run riot.

They will not win another game this year. Zero effort from them today particularly when the game was up for grabs. They are a chance for picks 1 and 2 if we win 2 more games

Who was brave enough to endure the entire 120 min torture of the Derby?

Granted I maybe a parochial Melbourne supporter, and we have been pretty damn poor at times this year, but the one and a half quarters of pure unadulterated shyte that passed as football that I witnessed in this game was far worse than anything I'd witnessed from us this year and made me question whether players are indeed immune from tanking. I reckon Belgrave U12s could have beaten either side today. Sure the players looked like they were trying - right up to the point that they won the ball and then handed it directly back to an opponent who was miles away from the intended target.... and herein lies the non-issue of tanking as far as Vlad is concerned - how do you prove sides tank.

I can't really criticise the motives of either coach without sounding like a hypocrite because I actually want us to get Scully, but I believe at the very least senior players can not be isolated from the intentions of the FD. The game was so farcical that it beggerd belief that the fans stayed to watch it.... other than to see who wanted to win less. This surely isn't good for football. It would be bad enough that a game at the highest level could be so poor at demonstrating the most basic of football skills, that it could do so on the basis of instructions would completely undermine and destroy the game.

But like I said Vlad will be happy to say show me the proof...from my perspective though what I witnessed yesterday is enough evidence to do something about the issue.

I endured all 120 minutes. Having watched Melbourne for a long time, I have seen plenty of low-quality games, the Eagles and Dockers however played a no-quality game – very poor.

This result leaves West Coast in a precarious position (from Melbourne's standpoint). There really isn't much incentive for them to win another game. On paper you'd back them against North Melbourne and Richmond at home, but I thought they would beat Fremantle last night and they didn't.

However, I did read in the HUN today that the general consensus is that West Coast and Fremantle, if they had the choice, would pass on Tom Scully because they're afraid he will return to Victoria when he gets the chance. According to the article they will take Morabito before him.

Embley missing set shot from 20 metres out, late last quarter. Tsk Tsk

And Miller missed one from the goal square against Sydney.

Wow, horribly hypercritical, if you think Bailey will have credibility come seasons end.

Bailey has credibility and will continue to have it come seasons end.

We have gone through an exhaustive rebuild that coninues even now. 16 goal blowouts have reduced to 8. Much still to be done.

West Coast won a premiership 3 seasons ago. Then came fifth. Then under 16.5 points. They still have 12 premiership players.

They deserve nothing but contempt should they emulate Carltanks effort.

As it stands they ran two rounds behind schedule with their last win (round 13) - against Hawthorn.

I wholeheartedly agree, but Worsfold is list managing, just as Bailey is. There's no doubt we need them more, but IMO it's still highly hypercritical to claim Worsford has no credibility, when our coach is doing the same thing.

Worsfold is also a Trained Chemist who would have known about the Drug Culture at Wet Coke 3-4 years ago, But chose to turn a Blind Eye & Shove his Head in the sand "No there is nothing to see here"

He Knew & the AFL knew But they let it go.

DO NOT EVER PUT BAILEY'S FIRST THREE YEARS OF COACHING IN THE SAME CATEGORY AS THAT WORM WORSFOLD EVER AGAIN..........

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
