He's been rock solid this year. Usually gets the number 1 forward every week and has rarely been beaten one-on-one all year.

He'd be top 5 in the B&F at the moment.

Criminally underrated is our Matty Warnock.

Pick 26 in the Rookie draft of 2004, and amazingly has played just 35 games so far!

Which just proves if we do not get the No 1 Draft Pick next year it may not mean the end of the world. Good players are still out there. Matty Warnock is a gem.

His biggest asset is his fight.

He hates being beaten, and gets angry when he gets beaten, as does Frawley and Rivers.

Anger is useful to focus the mind and enliven the spirit.

I think back to Nicho, who could get the odd towling because when he was getting beaten he would drop his head and have a sook. Defalting himself and those around, especially me in the stands.

You've got to get your chin up, swear at a teammate, and tell the bloke who kicked a goal on you that the next one is going to an F lot harder to get...

Matty will be 26 in April next year and will be valuable FB as we progress in the years to come.

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft.     Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week.
